What is the difference between latex and silicone seals on a drysuit

I don't think the statements about deodorant and aftershave has much bearing on latex sensitivity. Look up latex allergy, estimates between 1% and 8% of the population have some sensitivity to latex. That's up to 1 in 12 people so it's not that uncommon and clearly has little to do with "lifestyle choices".
