I wish I could eat plants. I miss them. There is so much variety. Sadly I became more and more allergic to plants inside and outside of my body. And I got bad reactions to each medicine I took to allow me to eat plants. Now, the only plants I can seem to have is high quality coffee, vanilla extract, some high quality chocolate and cinnamon but cinnamon seems like it's bothered me on and off which is how it always begins. The last plants I was able to have was herbs and spices. But now I react to them too. But, being on strictly small farm, organic animals who eat a natural for them diet and animal products I have no pain, I'm on no medicine except Zyrtec liquid gel cap because of all the outside environment plants I'm allergic to, I take no supplements except magnesium in powder form (I became allergic to cellulose which seems to be on all supplements), my skin has cleared up, I have no inflammation and my blood work shows no inflammation, I have energy and go to the gym alot. My friend says she does best on a raw food plant diet. But over 15 years of elimination of foods I have reached carnivore. I hope I don't have to do the lion diet one day. But for now thankfully I can eat all animals and animal products. Everyone is different. I'm happy you found health through giving up eating animals and their products.

I went keto and it screwed up my entire system. My thyroid levels got worse and it was a nightmare. I went back to being vegan and my thyroid levels are getting back to normal. I dont know how people say they feel worse being vegan but I definitely dont. I gained so much unhealthy weight during my one non-vegan pregnancy. My thyroid developed a goiter. The weight is VERY slowly coming back off since I went vegan. It has been a nightmare but i feel so good again.

Thank you, I am trying to eat better since I found out that a lot of food and meds were causing me problems. I wasn't sure how being on a plant base diet really worked but you actually just clear up the confusion I had. Thank you Queen!!!

Iron deficiency, b12 deficiency, protein deficit, female hormones become off balance. We bleed we need heme iron

Absolutely true that you need to supplement b12 on a plant based diet. Actuallly a lot of omnivores need to supplement B12 as well. Our soil is not as rich as it was in the past. Everyone should have their levels checked. As far as women needing heme iron that is false. In fact, our hormonal health is better on a low fat high fiber diet. By making sure you are consuming the whole spectrum of plant foods: fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, legumes, nuts and seeds, you actually get enough nutrients including protein. Again, it’s always important to work with your physician.

I was just hospitalized for having low iron. I thought I was having a stroke. I’m an omnivore but I don’t consume a lot of meat or iron.
