What is the fallout of the Sudan War? BBC Africa

In Sudan, more than 12,000 people have died so far following 8 months of fighting causing.
The UN has called Sudan the “world’s worst displacement crisis” with the number of people uprooted from their homes surpassing seven million. Aid agencies have struggled to access many of them and are warning that a predicted hunger catastrophe can only get worse as conflict spreads to the country’s breadbasket.
BBC News’s Ian Wafula unpacks what the fallout from the war may mean for its people and the region.

I'm from Slovenia and i remember Sudan is in almost perpetual violence for decades. Who can forget Darfur and a war between Sudan and South Sudan? Tirany is so prevalent there. This is so tragic and sad. And media even here in Slovenia don't talk about it. The only informations i can find is on-line. Same for other African countries. This is terrible on so many levels😢!

Now a militia by name of RSF had an attempted coup and is terrorizing civilians thousands were killed displaces, women were raped infront of their families it's really bad worst thing is it's funded by many first world countries like Russia and UAE

Long ago, I did a college art project on the Darfur war/genocide in hopes of shining s as light on those suffering far away. While I can’t recall the details of the conflict, life moved on for me across the world. Fast forward twenty years and I’m saddened to see the region yet again embroiled in conflict and turmoil. I’ve been so consumed by the war in Gaza and Americas shameless support of the despotic Israeli forces, that I didn’t even realize what was going on in Sudan until recently. While I’m not particular religious, I do pray for the restoration of peace and love throughout all of the war torn regions of the world, and am thinking about the people affected by these mindless feuds.

I feel such sadness for all of these people having to live with the terror of two men. How could it be possible for only one or two men to cause such horror, how can two people ‘make’ others do their bidding by killing the innocent, over and over again. Where is the ;God’ these people pray to for help? Is there such an entity capable of such cruelty and quite happy to allow this madness go on.
