I also know that we're all on different journeys, so everyone's timeline is definitely going to be vastly different depending on our individual circumstances. Pile 3. It’s so accurate to my situation now. My husband is Japanese and I’m American. We recently had a big fall out in our marriage where we were considering divorce. I thought it was crazy that you talked about the Japanese art of piecing together broken pottery with gold. That’s basically how our situation is going now. We’re piecing together years of communication breakdowns and trying to come together to make it work.
