Sir, I am jobless can I take pega course please suggest me
@WorldsHypocrisy2 жыл бұрын
Strongly disagree at 1:50, learn basic programming languages, but learn the industry standard tools like PEGA. The reason is when a big global bank or a telecoms provider wants to build an application to model their real world processes, they wont hire a C# developer from an unknown place or a freelance Java programmer to build it. However, if you have skills in Pega worklflow/automation/decisioning and have a credible experience in delivering quality projects, the going rates for these consultants are $2000/£3000 per day! (at least in Europe and US)

In the end, its up to you what you want to choose as a career. If you're happy working for a software firm, writing code in a corner for the next 10 years that should be OK too!
@MusingsbyAmit2 жыл бұрын
The web Development Industry is around 11 to 12 Billion USD and the Pega industry is around 1.2 Billion Dollars. It does not matter what you learn. There will always be more jobs for Web Development than Pega systems. But you are free to learn whatever you want.

RPA Development is more important than the tools you are using. Master RPA development. Read books on RPA development. What tool you use does not matter at all. Because the tools will keep changing. @MusingsbyAmit3 жыл бұрын
I will have to see if I can get someone who can answer these questions. Because I have no idea about interview questions. And I would not like to just put information here that is general information available on simple google search. But if you really want to prepare for any job. Then the best is to read from books related to that subject. Also you can read the job descriptions of Appian Jobs and try to understand what kind of knowledge they need then prepare according to that. That according to me is the best strategy.

Sometimes a question will have context based on the discussion we are having at that point. At any given point in any year, there are more than a million new bees in the IT industry. If someone tells me their experience, in this case, it was a fresher who asked this question, then I will answer on the basis of that. Also Girish, not everyone will find my answer right or good or up to the mark. I can understand that. But people do find my answers useful and because of that, I am able to do live every week. Because of that, I keep doing these videos. I am sorry if you did not like this then this may not be for you.

Can you come to my Live Session where I can do you interview? Your 20 years of experience will be very useful for my audience. If you are available to do the interview then get connected with me on LinkedIn from here amitpatels.com and then we will plan a session. It will be very helpful. Understanding the software principle/architecture is what matters, be you use any tools. For the point of PEGA /BPM tools, they make your work easy and fast to deliver, however the software principles are same there. I have seen people spending decades telling they are so called "Programmer" and writing code like freshers without thinking on data structures, design, performance. If you understand these things well you use any tool that doesn't matters.
@MusingsbyAmit3 жыл бұрын
I agree with you. Software Engineers are going to end up using these tools. But even with these tools they will still need to be good software engineers.
@kshahpune3 жыл бұрын
Sorry to correct you... PEGA is a tool, same way programming language is also a tool for building a logic. your reply is not correct.
@MusingsbyAmit3 жыл бұрын
I agree with you Kamlesh, that Pega is also a tool and Java Programming language is also a tool. But both are completely different tools. Pega in itself is a sophisticated tool where it is nowadays used in low code scenarios. It means as a software programmer I will not be writing any code. This can be detrimental for software engineers if they directly start using this tool over a programming language. If you can build applications and understand the application building process and after a few years then work with tools like Pega. You will be more creative and be able to use the tool to the best of your Application Development abilities. But if you directly start from Pega and never experience the complete software development life cycle then it can be an issue. That is the point I am making. Thank you for watching my video and commenting on it.

Hi Sir, I have an career gap. I have exp on Oracle DBA but I want to learn Appian or Dell boomi, in these two which one is the better option sir. Kindly give a suggestion sir.
@MusingsbyAmit3 жыл бұрын
Both are low code platforms. Each one has their specific uses and addresses certain industry concerns. So you cannot think which one is better. This is only when some company is deciding whether they want to implement Bhoomi or Appian in their company. For you - you should go by where you are getting more jobs. So that it is easier to get into that particular industry. So check on linkedin or indeed where are more jobs in this platform within india use that information to decide. Also look at the salary scale and other factors like type of companies etc. So that you can decided based on where you want to work. So your decision should be based on which company you want to join and then does that company really do what you are interested in and then what specific skills you need to join that particular company. That is the way to go.

Appian and similar tools like PEGA systems are gaining a lot of traction in BPM. So certainly if you master these tools there will not be a challenge of finding a job. But start from basics. Then go to advanced. Finally, do mastery in this. Because any field you choose there are 96% people who are generalist people who know most of the things and then there are 4% specialist people who specialize in the knowledge in such a way that sets them apart from most others.

Technologies like Appian or Pega systems are upcoming technologies that are little or no coding platforms to build some really cool systems. The market for these technologies is about 21 Billion and growing. So these are new technologies and will be here to stay. It is good that you are getting a hang of it. You can master these technology and then become an expert in this to get all the benefits.

No code platforms are coming...jaha pehle coding ke liye 100 log chahiye the vaha 10 log lage ge abb
@MusingsbyAmit4 жыл бұрын
I agree that no code platforms are coming. But I do not agree that where we needed 100 people we may need 10 people. That is not true. Infact if you have heard all the CEOs of big companies complain that only 20% of engineers are job ready when they come out of college. With no code platform it will help because now the engineers can use the no code platforms and build applications without having to know more of the complex programming practices that only a few can master. So instead of 100 engineers with no code we will need more 2x to 4x times more engineers because we can do something so fast that more work gets generated. Believe me Rohit, we are in for a treat.
