SRK said "Main Harta Nhi" this may be a kind of easter egg that he is DEV. What I think is when Amrita and Dev fought, a part of dev who loves Amrita gets separated from Dev and they both locked him as a statue, then they broke Brahmastra into 3 pieces by the Trishul (only dev can harness powers of Trishul and it was blue so I think both were holding that), I know its a stupid kind of fan theory but this is what I think :)

Dev actually showed his presence through Junoon. Her saying that she has given her soul to Brahma-Dev made sense as when Isha was about to throw Brahmastra, Dev takes control of Junoon's body, she turns red and says " BRAHMASTRA MERA HAI "🔥.... I got goosebumps literally... ❤️Voice bhi manly ho gya tha...That explains why she was able to harness the powers of jalastra and agniastra both.....But I would love to see her backstory....

I also noticed a detail. There is difference between shiva’s fire and Dev’s fire. While devs fire looks like real fire (red orange). Shivas fire has red, orange but little bit of pink and blue. Probably because of Amrita’s jalastra which is blue. We can also see this in the end battle when Shiva is using his fire (red and blue) to defeat junoon but then she gets more power up from Dev’s statue and then she takes control of shiva’s fire but then the fire’s colour changes from red and blue with pink to real fire (red and orange). Didn’t say anyone pointing out this detail so I did it myself.

You've just helped me find a detail which I missed horribly till now Dev's fire is only raw fire, that's why the natural fire colour of red-orange But Shiva's fire is more balanced & multicolored & only person with capability to make the Brahmastra calm down, but how did he get those powers? The only 2 person getting hold of the Brahmastra as whole while it was activated are Dev & Amrita, but now we know during that fight Amrita was pregnant, this could have imbibed Shiva with a portion of power of the Brahmastra itself I think Agni is just the beginning of his powers, he might have more powers of Dev's different other Astras The theories just keep getting better & better🤩

AS I TOLD EARLIER: I re-watched Brahmastra and the things I found about Alia in the film is quite confusing because, she was way more interested in Brahmastra than Shiva also when the Nandi Astra (Nagarjuna Sir) fell into the depths she gave a little wierd vibes. Also when she met Shiva she asked about his parents in a different way like she knows about his parents. I think Alia has a greater more important role in Part 2, I'm not telling she's on the evil side but maybe she's from Amrita's side (maybe) or maybe she knows about the past of Ranbir and she's helping him out (maybe 🤔) Or else it's just a bad story execution 😁 UPDATE: When Shiva went to the Alia's function arrangement, at a moment they where both looking at Maa Kali and Alia suddenly glimpsed and her facial expressions changed and Shiva looked at her very suspiciously but didn't ask anything (You'll notice this when you'll see the scene itself) Also at that scene she says "Hum mile taki mai tumhari madad kar saku" 😳 😳😳😳😳

After you said that Isha may be a negative character, I am having theory :: What if Dev knew that a certain person will be born who will destroy the world and can be killed only by brahmastra and then he took it upon himself to acquire brahmastra and kill the person when she is just a baby. Maybe other members of brahmanch were against his ideology and thought that the child should not be punished before she did any wrong and this led to the war. In present time when he sensed that Isha (the now grown up child) has come in contact with his son and the prophecy is coming alive, he sent his minions to free him so that he can kill her. He would have wanted to be free as soon as possible but then why wait for 30 years ; possibly because some danger was coming to there world

During the Scientist/Vanarastra scene, there is one book which falls down from the shelf, and upon investigation, we found that in that book, the father is captured by the Soviets and he writes letters to his son, which is brought to him by a girl, with whom he develops romantic interest. Sounds similar? Dev as the trapped father, Isha as the one to bring Shiva, Dev's son into the fold. This makes sense because I still hold that Dev is not the main villain of the movie, and there is still explanation as to why this is so. Amrita died by burning we don't know how or who did it. If can't be Dev because he actually loved her very much and he was also trapped in the statue at that time. Don't think it was Shiva who killed her. All this leads to me inclining towards the theory that the main villain is someone else, and to beat this so called villain, Dev went after the Brahmastra.

According to me dev and Amrita as they both fought the brahmastra got divided in 3 parts and during their division some of the power from brahmastra was absorbed by Amrita and dev and that would explain how Shiva can see where the other people guarding brahmastra are ..and hence he is also connected to dev because of that which shows us how he was able to see from the point of vision from junoon since she was controlled by dev ... The next thing because Shiva already has some powers from the brahmastra from birth the energy bramhastra was emmiting in the end was attracted only towards Shiva and since Isha was shown as his other half(lover) she is also attracted to bramhastra

Brahmastra- part 2 (DEV) fan theory:- Dev will find Shiva and Guruji as he is free now. He will confront them and then Amitabh and DEV will have talks regarding morality and ambitions . Then will come the flashback story... DEV was a anti hero type like Black Adam . He had a chaos under him. Amrita on the other hand was pure and calm like water. Dev mastered AgniAstra . His weapon was the TRISHUL. Then there comes love story of Dev and Amrita , the two opposite natured person will get attracted towards each other same like YE JAWANI HAI DEEWANI . like naina gets attracted to kabir, Amrita will fall in love with DEV and his inner chaos. Then there will be some attack on the Brahmansh and they will suffer some heavy casualty. Dev's best friend may get killed or heavily injured in that attack. Dev will try to persuade Brahmansh members to counter attack but major of the brahmansh members will pressurize to remain calm. They will blame Dev for his careless and rouge behaviour for this attack. This will make Dev angry and he will try to take revenge on the villains by himself but he alone will not be capable enough. So he will try to steal the weapons of other members. But during this process he gets confronted by another Brahmansh member and he gets exposed. The Brahmansh will now see Dev as a loose Canon and will throw him out of their secret society and also disrespect him because of his treason. Filled by grave hate and anger , Dev will now master his AGNIASTRA to its full potential and will kill the owners of KAVACH & MIND CONTROL one by one and will take their weapons. Then he will avenge his friend's death. After the battle with the villains , he will realize that he needs the absolute power of BRAHMASTRA so that he can protect people he loves and also he now feels that Brahmansh are way more tolerant than they should be . So now he decides to wake the BRAHMASTRA and become the BrahmaDev . So now he attacks the Brahmansh and nearly defeats all the warriors . He is now on the verge of waking up the BRAHMASTRA but he didn't know the after effect of it. Also in this battle , the guru of Brahmansh will get severely injured . Taking his last breath he will beg Amrita to stop Dev . So now binded by her loyalty to Brahmansh and due to her moral ground, pregnant Amrita will now come to stop Dev. Seeing Amrita , Dev will hesitate at first . But now due to this enormous power , he is corrupted and his inner chaos, darkness has taken over him. He fights Amrita and after a major battle , he starts to dominate her . Then she tells him that she is pregnant with his child. This will shatter Dev and will give Amrita the precious time she requires . Then with the help of Brahmansh guru's weapon and with her all power she attacks Dev who has lowered his guard, with a final powerful blow . But since he is too powerful , he is not defeated but is trapped and cursed that only BRAHMASTRA akawended can free him. During this battle , Amrita breaks the BRAHMASTRA into 3 pieces resembling HER , DEV & THEIR CHILD SHIVA. In That battle , When at last she attacked Dev with all of her power , her jalastra weapon may get trapped into DEV'S wound and the whole island gets submerged into sea. But using her fractions of power last left , she sends 2 BRAHMASTRA parts on that boat which we have seen in BRAHMASTRA part 1 with Amrita and Dev's name on it to Amitabh Bachchan and other Brahmansh and she rescues herself with her unborn child. Now since Amrita is separated from Dev and she thinks that she betrayed him , with a huge grief and broken heart , Amrita left the Brahmansh and make Shiva her life. She makes no contact with Brahmansh and lives a simple life. She converts the one part of BRAHMASTRA into SHANKH. Then after some years , Dev manages to mind control some persons who went under sea for exploration. Then he made them attack With his power on Amrita and take revenge. Since Amrita had lost her JALASTRA power so she gets defeated and gets burnt alive in that attack but Shiva doesn't as he also has power of AGNIASTRA. . Now coming to present day, Dev asks Shiva to come by his side as he is his son but Shiva tells him that since he killed his mother , he can't. Dev tells him that that was an unfortunate accident and he feels sorry for that. Then Dev also tries to polarize Shiva towards him by telling him his ambitious plan. But Shiva declines his offer . Then there is fight between both parties : Dev and Shiva. All Brahmansh warriors gather together As Dev is very much powerful. Alia uses the VAYU ASTRA. This epic battle takes a lot of casualties and Dev starts to dominate everyone because he has the power of AGNI, JAL , KAWACH AND MIND CONTROL. Amitabh realizes that they will get defeated and asks Alia to push Shiva to his full potential. Then father and son ; Dev and Shiva will fight each other and after sometime Dev will start dominating Shiva. Now Alia will show her true self. She belongs to a secret society created by Amrita. Amrita knew that one day DEV will get free and he will try to get his revenge . He will bring chaos on this earth. So she had created a secret society and had passed her knowledge and experience to make a counter plan to defeat DEV and stop him for good. Alia knew everything abt Shiva since the beginning. She was just pretending that she was a stranger to him but actually she was given the responsibility to look after Shiva . This brings us to the ques why Amrita was killed. Amrita was trying to protect Shiva and that Brahmastra part from Dev's goons , that's why she had to sacrifice herself. Alia tells Shiva the truth and Amitabh tells him that he already knew the truth . Then Alia , Amitabh and Shiva uses Amrita's plan , combine powers of all Brahmansh to defeat Dev . . . we can see that shiva could talk to the other bhramansh during SRK and also Anish artist were we can see during SRK he says " bas and we can see that all magical enchantment brokes suggesting that shiva is way more powerful that he can break all astras power with his mind...and in Anish case while pushing truck we can see shiva saying " utho" and suddenly we can see power going through nandi astra which suggest that he can control other astra.. And one scene suggest were anish took gunshot on himself which was for shiva showing that Nandi will always save shiva...due to which we will see nandi astra protecting shiva in this triology...

My Theory: Love story was completely intentional to misguide us. Notice that Isha's parents are never shown. Her suddenly coming in his life was suspicious too to become the guiding LIGHT for his journey. Her wish to follow Shiva so suddenly without much knowledge of him also seemed weird . Maybe she's from the dark side itself or has some past with the astras and didn't revealed anything to Shiva and others and was in search for Brahmastra herself . Like she was so eager to see the Bramhastra from Nagarjuna for the first time . Then also notice the WATCH she wears the whole time it might be having a significance too not like she just wore it and it was shown clearly. Also see the whole time she gets safe even after being a normal human among all the superpowers. She never reveals anything about her own parents but is always interested to know the backstory of Shiva's parents. Plus Shiva started getting those dreams just after Isha came in his life. The whole love story was weird and made something like STREE by Ayan to misguide us for the second part.

Introduce a new character who is staying away from the Ashram, from civilization, deep in some mountains worshipping Lord Vishnu with 2 of his close associates and stays with his wife. Guru introduces Shiva to this new Character, who somehow had some relation to the Brahmansh society but later on chose the path of Tapasya and Vishnu Bhakti for entire life time. He was blessed by a new Astra - "Singhāstra", a mighty weapon which has the power of 10,000 lions and it's natural source of energy would be thunder. Like Agnyastra, give him the Power of Thunderbolts. He is extremely powerful and the one who knows how to dominate Dev. And the Major Bramhansh members along with Shiva and Isha goes to that Ashram of the new character to learn some new mysteries. There he gets to know that Dev phir se jaag chuka hai aur duniya ke liye khatra ban chuka hai. He Personally trains Shiva, make him perfect, gives him few siddhis(mystical powers), and blesses Shiva and Isha and the other members. This should be a mysterious and very powerful cameo character. And please if possible Cast Hrithik Roshan in this new role🥺 The 2 associates should be given some new power of some wild animals like boar 🐗, tiger 🐅, Scorpio 🦂, makar(a mythological creature from Hindu scriptures) etc etc. This will give a completely new experience to the whole astraverse thing.
