Hey @IrishPartizan! There is really interesting place in Belarus you have never been. It's called - 'Автокемпинг нарочь'. One day costs 22 rubles and nearby you can find picturesque lake, restaurant and everything to have a rest. Also it's historical place. There is a german cemetary from WW1 nearby this place, it's called - 'CEMETERY OF GERMAN SOLDIERS OF THE FIRST WORLD WAR IN PRONKI'. And of course in Naroch there is a lot of cool place. Because of during WW1 there was a front and there was a border between the troops. Higly recommend to visit.

ticks are a huge issue not just in Belarus but Poland and Baltic States as well. It even makes wonderful expeditions into the forests in the region to collect berries, mushrooms, herbs, or just walk to historic sites quite risky. Now, the one thing many people don't realize is that some forests have way less ticks, especially pine forests by seaside and sandy beach areas/dunes so those are still relatively safe.

In the Baltics you could catch ticks even in city parks or simply by walking the grass in a public place. Don't remember whether it was like that during my childhood. Love picking up mushrooms in a forest, but unfortunately ticks make it a risky business.
