Victor, Vodka and his cool mellow buddy that kept a huge secret from him, the cool violin/guitar playing, Victor's internal conflict about WW2 and the past and his shocking day by meeting a British guy who was obviously insane for going to Belarus for Holiday but turned out to be an American spy. I must disagree to some extent. Don't judge prematurely and stereotype people/work. We make kids videos with our daughter firstly because we want to spend some quality time with her and have some cool memories. She is very happy doing this and we don't force her to anything(she is forcing us and can't wait to create more videos and she is learning quite a bit in the process. Furthermore we want other kids to have some quality content to watch in our language, same as you and me here, only you need to understand that kids want content which they can relate to, not what you and me like/want. For every video we invest minimum of 3 days(preparing/scripting, shooting editing, etc..) , but mostly even more. We really put our hart and soul into it. And for someone to just like that say it is no effort and soul, it is very hurtful to us. Having said all that, we don't monetize our videos. Take care and be wise choosing your words next time.

@@KM-wf9yx nah, it's pretty unlikely. His violin skill means he graduated from a conservatory in USSR. Person studying in a conservatory commits almost all his time to music practice. You just can't study in a conservatory and training as a spy at the same time. I bet he received a good education in a conservatory. He became a professional musician, worked as a teacher. But then USSR fallen apart. And then there was a war in Chechnya, there was gangs and terrorist everywhere. Robert probably lost his home or/and family and was forced to flee and roam. This video clip needs to be sent to the Academy Awards in the Short Film category - I wont be surprised if it actually wins. It is SO SO SO SO GOOD - even Darren Aronofsky would dream of making something like this. It has everything - perfect narration - grim gloomy climate - local folks at the store - giggly local teens - near perfect camera angles (for instance, there's a dog in most parts of the clip but is never the focus) - photography scores 100% (the part where it;s dark when narrator is leaving's Robert;s apartment) - a cemetery reminding us of the sordid past - A character like Victor (straight out of Chekov's works) and an enigmatic and reticent Robert who plays Vivaldi - and a perfect ending. Hands down the best one on this channel (yes better than Kolya episodes)!

I can tell Victor was kinda shocked that his friend Robert is such a bright and educated person by the standards and was so modest to never mention his education, it got him right in the feels i guess and you can also tell Robert is a gentleman, a kind soul and a good friend, that who knows how much stuff he has gone through his life. Hope they both do well and live happy lives. * It felt so sad when i read Bald's comment down the section that Robert has been dealing with health issues... hope he's ok :(

All i know about Zelenskiy is that he tried to fight corruption and to establish peace in Donbass (although ineffective) if am not mistaken, fair play to that. Anyway i hope this thing with the separatists ends once and for all. People are dying and it is really sad.

In the Czech Republic we're talking, and this is coming from an American in Eastern Europe, and a camping trip guy/sucker for out of the way places guy, your holidays in places like this are a waste of time and money without a Viktor, or in my case, an Antonín. I've been rolling with him, the disgraced nephew of Jiri Paroubek, our exalted former PM, for fifteen years and as long as you pay for everything, we're talking access to Kalashnikov rifles and pubs hidden in old Soviet missile bunkers accompanied by guitars. You know what I'm talking about m8.

@@maxirede7790 , this is all true. I was referring specifically to blaming everything on WWII. It was awful, just as you describe. But so much time has passed since then. Germany and Japan recovered long ago. And yet, in Russia and Belarus It's as if that war just ended yesterday, and all Germans are responsible for Hitler, all Brits -- for Churchill, all Americans -- for Roosevelt. At least this is how most old people still think. Even if they were babies during the war, or were born soon after it. This is how they learned it in school, and those roots run deep.

Despite the seemingly friendly atmosphere, the air smelled of pepper and it's good that the booze didn't end in a knife fight. According to statistics, drunk killings on the basis of domestic conflict in Russia and Belarus are quite frequent. It is always better to drink in an apartment only with people whose adequacy and psychological health you are sure of. For a drink with an unfamiliar person on the first day of the acquaintance, it is better to choose a bar or other public place.

@Parma zyxwvu How about the fact that Stalin approached the Allies SEVERAL times to get them to help him stop Hitler before he did too much damage and every time they rejected him? Or that fact that the US wouldn't have gone into World War II had we not been attacked by Japan. And the only reason we went to war with Germany was because they were an ally of Japan. With the fascism of Germany, Italy, and Japan on full display, the US still took a stance of isolation. "When USA helped them in bad times." We only helped when it was beneficial to us. And that's the only time the US helps anyone, really. The Germans invaded the Soviet Union in June 1941 and we didn't enter the war until December 1941. Meaning we saw Germany invade the USSR, decimating everything in their path, and we did nothing. So don't give me that bullshit saying we helped them out and they should be grateful to us. We only "helped" when we had to and when it was to our advantage. You need to realize that most of the world hates us. For very good reason. I know that the government and media want to make you believe that we are beloved all around the world, but this simply isn't true. We are a tyrannical empire. But of course even the British Empire saw themselves as "the good guys" as they butchered and enslaved half the world.
