I have been praying for revelation on this matter and felt uncomfortable always about old earth and the Gap theory, and after seeing this, I had immense peace, and I knew God gave me the answer. Thank you so much. What you teach is biblical. Holy Spirit has confirmed this for me many times. People, if you have questions, direct them to God he will always answer you, lean not on your own understanding. God bless in Jesus name 🙏

Old Earth Creation does not believe the Universe always existed or created itself independent of a Mind. The universe has a beginning therefore it needs a beginner. The Laws of Nature act on the physical to make a Universe, the Laws must come from somewhere or someone, a mind or intelligence.

Those who like to attack or ridicule the Gap theory always ignore Psalm 104:30 "You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; And You renew the face of the earth." (NKJV)

If you go down enough rabbie holes and cherry pick enough, you will ALWAYS find a verse that supports your belief - always!!!

And, just like that you take this verse totally out of context to prove a non existant theory.

If a person wants to get baptised as an outward showing off one’s faith that’s cute and lovely , no where in the bible does it say your salvation relying on baptism, But Jesus does say , BE BORN AGAIN END OFF

The Bible does NOT teach a supposed "gap", its to be found nowhere in the 39 Books of the Old Testament, nor any of the Books of the New Testament (especially in 2 Peter 3) does it teach a supposed "gap" of unknown "millions of years". 2 Peter 3:5-8 refers to the worldwide Flood of Noah, which happened 1,656 years after the Creation Week of Genesis 1:1 -31, instead of allegedly before the Creation Week. The only reason one would need to factor in an alleged "gap" of millions of years is to accommodate evolution and its evil twin, "deep-time", first proposed by the late 18th century and early 19th century amateur uniformitarian geologists. "Genesis 1:31 says, ‘And God saw every thing that He had made, and behold it was very good.’ [The Hebrew is tov meod, which indicates perfection, a complete absence of evil of any kind, as Calvin and many other commentators have pointed out.] This is hardly an accurate description, if the being who became Satan had already rebelled! And if there were billions of ‘Lucifer-flood’ fossils with the marks of disease, violence, death, and decay, corresponding to the perishing of an entire pre-Adamic race and the extinction of a complete world of animals, with Adam and Eve walking around on top of buried fossils, how could God have called all this ‘very good’? " [In other words, if Isaiah 14:12-15 and Ezekiel 28:13-17 do refer to the ‘fall’ of Satan (which certainly is not proven), this more consistently fits after Day Six of Creation Week, and not between verses 1 and 2 of Genesis 1.] "Genesis 6-9 describes a worldwide flood in which all the air-breathing land animals which were not on Noah’s Ark died. As gappists assign the fossils to ‘Lucifer’s flood’, they are forced to conclude that Noah’s Flood left virtually no trace or was merely local. Surely a flood which is explicitly described in the Bible is a better source of the fossils than a hypothetical flood which the Bible does not mention at all! "Exodus 20:11 says, ‘For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is …’ This is the definitive verse outside Genesis concerning the time frame of creation. It states categorically that God created everything in six days. There is just no allowance for a gap." [Dr. Weston W. Fields, Unformed and Unfilled, Burgener Enterprises, Collinsville, Illinois, p. 58, 1976] creation.com/from-the-beginning-of-the-creation "Although the gap theory originated out of a desire to accommodate the millions of years of supposed geological time, only the most biblically (and scientifically) naïve would think it succeeds. Uniformitarian geologists reject the idea of any global Flood, whether the biblical Noah’s Flood or the imagined ‘Lucifer’s Flood’ of the gap theory. The fossils supposedly formed over hundreds of millions of years, not rapidly as in a catastrophic flood (ruin). Students from Christian homes went to secular universities and found that the ‘gap theory’ made no sense with secular geology anyway, so they saw it for what it was-an ill-informed attempt to make the Bible fit secular science. And since their Christian leaders had effectively made ‘science’ authoritative over Scripture in this matter, many of these students took the next logical step: since ‘science’ says that dead men don’t rise, virgins don’t conceive, adultery and homosexual behaviour are natural, then are not unnatural perversions." creation.com/images/pdfs/cabook/chapter3.pdf "Genesis records a catastrophe responsible for destroying everything that had the “breath of life” in them, except for those preserved in the ark. Christ refers to the global flood in Noah’s day in Matthew 24:37-39, and Peter writes that just as there was once a worldwide judgment of mankind by water, so there will be another worldwide judgment, this time by fire (2 Peter 3). The theory of Lucifer's flood is completely without scriptural evidence and must be rejected." www.gotquestions.org/Lucifers-flood.html "Christians have made many attempts over the years to harmonize the Genesis account of creation with accepted uniformitarian geology and its teaching of billions of years for the age of the earth. Examples of such attempts include the views of theistic evolution, progressive creation, and the gap theory. This idea of the gap theory can be traced back to the rather obscure writings of the Dutchman Episcopius (1583-1643), but it was first recorded from one of the lectures of Thomas Chalmers.[I. Taylor, In the Minds of Men: Darwin and the New World Order, TFE Publishing, Toronto, Canada, 1984, 363.] Chalmers (1780-1847) was a notable Scottish theologian and the first moderator of the Free Church of Scotland, and he was perhaps the man most responsible for the gap theory. [Dr. W.W. Fields, Unformed and Unfilled, Burgeners Enterprises, Collinsville, Illinois, 1976, 40.]

I think it is very dishonest and disingenuous of you to teach that old age creationists believe in evolution. That is not only incorrect it is very slanderous. You do not know what you are talking about with regard to the gap theory, particularly with regard to the origin of sin and death. You misrepresent the scriptures by stating that sin began with Adam, yet you are ignorant of the fact, or you refuse to acknowledge that sin did not originate with Adam, it originated with Satan and pre-existed the fall of man in the garden of Eden. Ask yourself, why did Jesus say to his disciples that he saw Satan fall from heaven as lightning, and he calls Satan a “murderer”from the beginning. The same beginning referenced in Genesis 1:1Explain that one since you know so much. The last time I checked, murder was a sin. And if it began with Satan, during which of the six days of the recreation, do we find Satan committing murder? I suggest you study the Genesis creation text from both the Masoretic text and the Septuagint. Particularly verses, one through three of chapter 1. Stop lying about what old creationists who believe in the gap principal believe.

This guy is an honest guy I believe BUT he is teaching some error....first you need a KJV Bible and sound doctrine ...I agree that he creates a strawman and then makes his point....I believe there is biblical evidence that there was a gap...but I never believed it was billions of years....

It must be difficult to keep yourself voluntarily ignorant of scientific facts and methodology. Creationists will forever be reverse engineering their arguments to fit the scientific facts of today. A literalistic reading of myth will force you to develop absurd explanations
