After listening to this lecture i came to know of the following things through quranic ayats and it changed my perspective alot in terms of hijab of women which is being practiced in the world and is that right? I came to know and now i believe that also which i will tell in points: 1) ref ayat 3:14 women are adornment for men and women both and is women are praised by both men and women in an attractive manner thats why it is necessary to know their hijab. 2) 24:31 women does not need to cover their whole body except what is their adornment which is mentioned in the ayat and another ref ayat surah maida ayat 6. in our muslim world it is considered for women to cover the face which is not ordered by Allah as face is an identification of the person. if its covered how would we know who is inside so thats not ordered at all and hair as well as these are the obvious parts of body which doesnt need to be hidden. women are required to preserve their private parts and they must not show feelings of love and passion to men other than mentioned and should not expose what needs to be hidden from their style of walk. thats written in the ayat. 3) so now i came to know the hijab of women according to quran and i told even my relatives and other people surrounding me that if a women covers the parts which needs to be and psychologically lowers herself from her insights then she is in complete hijab . no need to cover the face or head or hair etc. hands till elbows are also allowed. jazakallah

Wisdomful talk from the ayaat on the topic describing a believing woman's hijab/veil both physically and psychologically so as she remains in connection with GOD and God speak to her. Abridged, we come to know that among other things women are adornment for people (men and women of any age). Women are adornment from head hair to feet nails. They are guided not to show their adornment, except the obvious. The physical body parts either washed or rubbed during ablution for prayer are the obvious body parts which should remain uncovered. The psychological aspect of body parts is also highlighted. Such a believing woman who knows, understands and propagates ayaat of Allah is given a degree by Allah in the form of a gown to wear upon clothes so as to be identified with her belief and practice upon governing ayaat.

(An-Noor 24:31) 1- Lower themselves from their insights 2- Preserve their gaps / private parts. 3- Do not show their zeenat / adornment physically and psychologically to anyone except what is obvious from it. i.e. head represent intelligence, face represent identification, hands to the elbows represent work, feet to the ankles represent whereabouts. 4- Do not show their zeenat / adornment psychologically i.e. feelings of love & passion to anyone except to one of the relations. 5- Do not strike with their feet in front of anyone so that their hidden zeenat/ adornment / feelings of sex is known, i.e. body parts except head, face hands to the elbows & feet to the ankles. 6- Strike with their coverings over their pockets i.e not to unveil the secrets of the family and about themselves. (Ahzab 33:59) Should make a base from their gowns on them. (Ahzab 33:32) Do not subjugate with the saying, speak a saying of recognition.

All the ayats relating to women is discussed-physical as well as psychological.Many of the ayats clarify and educate us women where we are right and where we are wrong.For example-covering of head is not mentioned but we do; many cover their faces( those who think they are more pious) but Maryam (pbuh)- the chosen woman-was identified by her face, which means her face was not covered. Wearing a gown is a recognition given by Allah to all believing muslim women so that she will not be teased but instead women wear gowns for fashion or to cover their wrong clothes underneath.
