Though RBI gives handsome salary, it is easy to survive in Mumbai as the cost of living is high there.

RBI will take care of your needed, 75K as lease amount is descent, some officers are adding 25-30K from their own pocket and living at very posh locations. For most of the officers Husband and Wife both are working.
