Great points Coach. One day with my 14U FP team, I brought out the 10" softballs for the team to use and practice with. It was fun to watch their reaction on how small the ball felt in their hands and how well they were able to manipulate and throw the ball, especially from the outfield. And just like you mentioned, having the players throw from different angles or different perspectives to get comfortable and then re-introducing the 12" ball back later in the practice. It made the practice go faster and the players wanted to do that again.

Do you have any videos on stretching/warm ups before a game? My rotator cuff and thighs are killing me after a game. I think I need better warm ups. I don’t have a “professional” coach.
