What is the Mark of the Beast? - Explained

Does the number 666 give us any clues about who the Antichrist will be? What will the "mark of the beast" look like? Could it be a computer chip? Here’s my theories on the mark of the beast based on what we can learn in Scripture. Let me know what YOU think!

Awesome! Revelation was the first book of the Bible I read when I was 10 years old. I have always been so interested and just admired all things about it. Grant it, it used to scare me to death, but as I got older I realized God has the victory and its all in his hands. I wish I knew what the answers were. I have to sadly say im not entirely sure what to do with the 666 numbers. I just have always prayed that me my family and friends all go to Heaven together in the rapture. I have since I was little and still do to this day.

You hit the nail on the head. The church can understand that the antichrist might be alive today but we will be gone before he is revealed. People left behind after the rapture who get converted by the gospel will have wisdom to confirm who the unholy trinity are. (the Beast, the false Prophet and the Antichrist) so that they will know with certainty that they are not of God. Their powerful lying signs, wonders and miracles will not decieved them.

The pre-trib rapture was made up by two Scottish girls in 1830s the rapture doesn't happen till after the tribulation when the sun and the moon go dark

Salvation is no longer by grace after the rapture. It is the time of “jacobs trouble” they must trust Christ’s finished work yes but also have to resist the mark of the beast and persecution without denying Jesus. “He who denies me I will deny also” paraphrased but we must warn people about the coming wrath because now is easiest time In history to be saved.

​@@vladteacup6065 Hello Vlad. If you do a deep study of who the 24 elders are around the throne of God in Revelation 4 and 5, it may add clarity to the issue of the timing of the rapture. You'll see that John sees resurrected [the resurrection happens together with the rapture] beings (the elders) in Heaven in chapters 4 and 5. It is in chapter 5 that Jesus takes possession of the scroll (title deed to the Earth), and sets the events of the Tribulation in motion beginning in chapter 6. As well, do a study into who the "elect" are in Matthew 24:31. You'll find that they truly are the Jews, and not the Church. Be careful not to be sucked into replacement theology/supersessionism! I find that those who believe the "elect" at the end of the Tribulation are the Church, have been suckered into replacement theology. The Church will be gathered together by Christ himself, whereas the "elect" are gathered by angels. The "elect" that are gathered, are the same ones that have been scattered!! Look into Ezek. 5:10 and 12, also 17:2; Zech. 2:6; Isaiah 11:1, 10, 11, 12; Isaiah 43:5-7, 10, 20. The best book on the subject that I've found is "Maranatha - Our Lord, Come! A Definitive Study of the Rapture of the Church" by Renald Showers. I will explain it to you my friend, those who receive the mark of the beast are those who chose sin instead of God's moral law. 6 represents work, or slaving. Who commits sin is a slave to sin. 7 represents rest, or keeping God's Holy Law. Basically you choose fornication or Adultery instead of Thou shalt not commit adultery, you choose to steal instead of Thou shalt not steal. It's a Choice everyone will make. And unless you repent and return to God's ways you won't be saved. Christ said on one of his parables that those who will not have Him be ruler over them will be destroyed.

if it doesnt apply to what it merant for the 1st century church then its twisting scripture which has been going on from that 1st century church as paul had to write to the thessalonians. the 1st century masrk in the forehead=believing the propaganda and believing it and mark in the hand represented what you did with the propaganda. you believed that caesar was lord and offered worship once a year by offering salt on an altar and also going to the regular guild god ceremonies. today the last 2yrs has shown that this has happened and is still going on worldwide, the first time in history its been a worldwide worship of the caesars propaganda and by believing it the marking on the hand as a means of showing what you did with your belief in the propaganda was to submit to their agenda which was to believe their lies and fearmongering and get the jabs. another thing was trhat most churches up in canada bowed to the caesars demand on how to worship god according to their word and not gods. did your church shut down? did your church enforce the governments stipulations for worship? did you take the jab?

Great video. Thanks for puting the time into it and for adding great content on the web. I talk to many people that are scared to use RFID chips, micro chips, and other things like this. They feel it is moving toward the mark of the beast, and they are afraid they will receive the mark on accident. You have great points about the mark, but do you think receiving the mark will be a conscious effort? I have a theory that one will have to denounce Christ to receive it. Seeing as those that receive the mark will be thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 19:20

Yes, I can't see how someone could "accidentally" take the mark. It seems from the passage that the false prophet will be the administer of the mark... If you want to buy and sell you have to have the mark and if you want the mark you have to worship the beast and his image. The mark is directly related to the worship of the beast. I don't think that even the beast wants anyone to accidentally get the mark because the mark is proof that you worship him and he wants to persecute and kill those that don't.

I know your comment is well meaning, but I am actually very familiar with your view. I have a master's degree in theology and I have studied this extensively. I am not a preterist because it doesn't fit with Scripture... At all. You have to turn everything in Matthew 24 and Revelation into an allegory to get there and that's a really bad way to study the Bible. Even the prophetic passages should be taken as literally as possible.
