Jesus Christ, I was searching for this message for last 2 weeks. For this insight, which is so obvious after stating. ISTJ here. The message not to fight and find means to kill pain, but to embrace, accept it and learn from it to gain wisdom about your suffering. You helped me in adding meaning to this hurtful experience. Thank you.

Hey Chase, I appreciate and admire your vulnerability and courage. I think it is one of the reasons why your work is so meaningful and so full of positive impact. I learn more than just the personality types from you. :) When you said that you feel guilty that you're not the best father because you're not near your kids on a daily basis, it made me kind of sad to hear that. On the contrary, from meeting you at that first Meetup group and from watching a ton of your videos, I think you are a great father. Even though you may not be near your kids on a daily basis due to circumstances, I can see that you work really hard to make the world a better place for them and for others. That in itself is huge. (I wonder, did you get sick because you were juggling so many things at once? O_O) Don't be so hard on yourself; we're only human. Keep up the great work and remember to take care of yourself! And thank you so much for your work! :) Sincerely, Kayla ISFP

i love how you said that you've been told that you come across as a creep and then here you are making a video in the dark 😂 but also same: i don't know how to enjoy life and it. pisses me off. i'm constantly collecting knowledge like some thirsty child but i find it so difficult to allow myself to spend time doing things PURELY out of joy. and then recently i was like welp, if i'm not going to do things i enjoy, i might as well knock some obligations out of the way so that i'm at least doing SOMETHING (like if i'm not going to enjoy anyway, i'll do what is most productive and potentially stress relieving) so now for the upcoming few weeks, every day that i have off from work is filled with some not-so-fun-but-need-to-get-done thing. and to be honest, just scheduling those things into my calendar and making those damn appointments is making me feel better. i feel like ok, maybe after this hurricane of chores i'll feel lighter and maybe enjoyment will happen on its own. also i moved away from the bay area to the east coast at the end of 2018 but as soon as i come back, i want to come to your meetups. i'm utterly jealous of everyone who gets to currently go to your meetups!!!

I think that ISTP sounded a little bit like me, restless, always looking to do something that makes me and close people happy being fully present, sharing joy and love in my life with people while inspiring them and others, and when with these good intentions i hurt someone i care about without meaning to do so, that's where downward spiral comes, because i don't want to do so, but i also want them to understand some things and grow. I start blaming myself, my energy shifts and i end up in the bad place. Also i notice if i'm in a bad place and i can't give something joyful or positive to people around me i also feel bad, because that's what i would love to do, and when i can't i feel even worse. Sounds like an addictive lover right? My energy expands to give good energy, but i kinda suck at empathy or sympathy when it comes to words, most of the time, because i prefer action... i feel for people, if i try to make them feel better and talk about emotions, support them, they call me a robot which also hurts, even tho i'm trying to understand them it's hard for me , i express things that i feely deeply, but i'm kinda stoic about it , and they don't feel like it's genuine. Any tips on improving these things ?

Hey Chase, I don't know if you still look at old lecture's comment but hey I'll ask anyway You said it's useful for female viewers to watch these men videos because they can have standards to hold their man to. So I was wondering as a gay male, should I have the same standard than women? That me and my partner both be King-Warrior-Magician-Lover while expecting masculine archetypes in the other, and that we both neglect the feminine archetypes within our couple?

Bro: Shiva was a male, Shiva means "that which is not" is not even his name, it is to clarify the fact that he was beyond it all, he does not have sexual relationships with a man, he was married to Parvati (a woman), which became enlightened thanks to him through sexual practices. He was considered to basically be the admin of the universe, had a couple of children, one of them is known as Ganesha for example, the elephant headed godman, Shiva is also known as Adiyogi Shiva which means "the first yogi" because he created Yoga, he lived about 4,500 years 60,000 years ago and is also considered the ultimate Zen Master because he could do anything in the physical world like cut his little baby's head and put an elephant head to replace it because he accidentally killed him... it was a mistake! The one with the head on her hand is Parvati, his wife, after the orgasm and the one laying on the floor being stepped on by Parvati is Shiva again. Also he realized there are only 112 ways to attain enlightenment (look it up, it's exquisite) , 112 for regular human beings, there are 112 chakras in the physical body and you can get enlightened like that, actually there are 114, but the other 2 chakras are outside the body, above the head, like Jesus had one of them, there's a second one bigger than that of Jesus but those are only for the ones beyond it all. That being said I'll keep watching the video, I hope my message is informational for you, I love hindu culture :)

I don't know if we are suppost to "reach" enlightenment. Humans are designed to move forward, and something I have noticed in my life is that when I finish a task I immediately want another. This is why I like Jesus so much, because he says follow me, and have sanctification (become holy over time) this always gives me something to do and be because I will never be god, but I can try to be like him. I believe God/Jesus are/is the pinnacle of everything, so by following him I am chasing after the pinnacle of pinnacles and always moving to enlightenment. So maybe enlightenment and sanctification are very close if not the same and we are always suppost to be moving to the pinnacle of pinnacles (what ever that is) and be in the PROCESS of enlightenment/sanctification.

I'm somewhat of an addicted lover too, in the sense that I want to learn everything and never specialize in anything, and then one day I get sick and tired of learning and want to create something with what I've learned, but then I see that I was too superficial when learning and all I can do is discuss and speculate but never take any action, so I lapse into extreme depression with constant suicidal thoughts. Of course, the word "lover" seems rather weird here since it has nothing to do with human love, since that is as absent as it can be, but it doesn't actually bother me. What bothers me is that I have creative energy inside that can never come out in its truest form, so it ends up exploding like a bomb with agression. Yes, all my creative energy literally gets released with agression and pessimism. Do you have any tips on what the hell I should do?

Season 13 is one of my favorite seasons. Chase doesn't have many videos talking about human nurture, but those videos are so insightful. If human nature is technic, then human nurture is more like art. They have to be balance. They have to develop at the same time. You will still suffer in a golden pair relationship, if you don't develop your human nurture. I hope more people, both man and woman, can watch this season, especially this video. And maybe spend some time really think. Love is a choice.

@@CSJoseph Kind of an immature response. No part of my comment was intended to say how smart I was, or offend you at all.. Just saying, think of the amount of people you could influence. You said yourself 1/4... I'm not perfect brother, maybe you missed the point.

I can't believe someone else also thinks of love the same way I do, how it's very, very deeply tied to pain. We're not talking about masochism here, by the way. There's a reason Christian mythology was the way it was. Without contrast, without the other side of the coin, there's no love to begin with.

Would you say your lover archetype is low because of Se demon? Not all about the physical environment right?

CS Joseph I think LOA will greatly benefit you. I believe in different dimensions and you my dear would enjoy being in the 5th dimension. You deserve it. You are a good person and have already taken many vacations and already are exactly where you say you “ wish you were” it’s all a matter of perspective.

Thank you for reminding me of the Maturing of Masculinity. I need to evolve and the artofmanliness.com introduce me to the concept a while back. ENTP is my type as well but failing isn’t something I’m afraid of though. Thank you for your selfless efforts to attack fatherlessness me and generations of black men need this knowledge.

very well said sir, It is sad that black men have less fathers per capita compared to other races.

So dealing with shadow in the shadows. How fitting. You want the lover, but that comes with self love as well, foolish kinda mad crazy insane just weird quirky loooove. Must say you are very hard on yourself but you already exude what you seek.

You're a good guy ... I've prayed for you ... you are not quite there with the Divinely Revealed Religion of Jesus Christ (Catholicism) but if you are open to grace you can make the discovery. I invite you into the Supernatural Life of participation in the divine life of the Trinity. Material and Ego achievements are all well and good but it is all for nothing if you are not a branch united to the True Vine, Jesus Christ. You want your efforts and good works to follow you into eternal life, brother. This will be the case if you believe and act IN Christ. May God the Father bless you through Jesus our Lord in the unity of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
