What is the MAX HP HEALED in a SINGLE ATTACK? -DarkSouls 3 Data

But what is the most we can heal in a single ACTION? Now this is what I call REALLY USELESS DATA!

So what the hell did we actually learn?
TL:DW GUIDE!
- The Lifehunt Scythe heals with a perfect build for it heals 137 per target it hits!
- So with the Evil Eye Ring and Astor's Spear heals +65 more, for a total of 202HP Healed!
- We could do what we did last time, but using lifestealing weapon arts on critical attacks DOESN'T give us the wep art bonus. So only +4HP....
- But how about the DARK HAND? It has a weapon art called LIFEDRAIN!
- This lifedrain is very promisng already! On a low SL of 20ish it heals 228! VERY GOOD!
- It even heals the full amount regardless of how much health you actually drain, even if they have 1HP you receive the full heal!
- So how about maxing our stats? With 99INT,99STR,99DEX and 99FTH it heals 444!
- Also for some reason, this LIFEDRAIN is considered a critical attack! How odd, so that's 85HP extra healed!
- However the HORNET RING does not boost this damage further, despite claiming to boost critical attacks....
- This combined with everything else, gives us the max of 594HP healed!
- Let's double check this for PVP!
- Oh god...plz no
- Alright... so it heals more, not sure WHAT makes it heal more, but it's something...
- Oh, and EVIL EYE effects also don't work on players...
- I don't even, does this scale of Soul Level?
- After spending a good hour of the both of us leveling to the MAX we see no difference in HP healed...
- We'll leave this mystery to the druids, we have a MAX to finish!
- So with the max lifedrain of 564 + 85ruby gives us the MAXIMUM HP HEALED IN A SINGLE ATTACK OF 649! PHEW!

USELESS DATA THOUGHTS: After rewatcing this it occurred to me the 480HP drain might of been so different since my stats were being scaled down. However that doesn't explain why that 480HP is still more than the 444HP I did to NPC's at a HIGHER non-scaled down level. Basically I have no idea. But I'm almost certain that 564 is the cap. It might simply use a different formula on NPC's, who knows? \_(ツ)_/¯

Yhorm's Great Machete has the highest AR in the game. Unless you count the warcry charged R2 as a mutli-hit attack, and therefore not a "single attack", it'd almost certainly be that.

I'd like to request some pointless data on... Frostbite! With the new Snap Freeze spell, I've found that Frostbite does *not* do purely percentage-based damage like I had thought, since it's fully capable of one-shotting low hp mobs like the Hollows in Untended Graves. This would suggest that the damage from Frostbite is, at the very least partially, flat damage, but at the same time you tend to get different damage values on different mobs, which would also suggest that there's some kind of damage scaling going on, very likely a percentage of the victim's hp. So now the question is... *how much flat damage and how much percentage damage does Frostbite actually do?*

The same as without the cat ring. If I remember correctly, it only prevents non lethal fall damage. So if you would survive w/o it, you would also survive with it being equiped.

But if I am not wrong falls' damage is not based on max hp percentage so if you have 99 at vigor, life ring and favor ring +2 you may survive many fall that normally you wouldn't

Not really. The cat ring prevents any nonlethal fall damage. At a certain distance, the fall damage becomes scripted. For instance, I can fall down the gate in the Cathedral and live just fine, but the ladder in Farron is a scripted death, even though I believe the fall to actually be shorter.

there is a way to test this with some sort of measuring tool which are ladders! Just count how many steps on the ladder you climb and jump down.

Flynn's ring has a max AR onus of ~15% (14.6ish I think). However, the ring is based off your actual weight, and not your weight ratio. Example - all your armor, weapons, and rings add up to exactly 20 weight. For every 1 point of weight, you lose 0.6% of the bonus from Flynn's ring for a total of 12% lost.

Maybe the difference in stolen live between the 2 pvp players has something to do with self-damage amp. If the weapon has a similar lifesteal effect like Lifehunt Scythe effects like a Prisoner's Chain being equipped by the other player would have caused him to technically take more dmg and amping the lifesteal.

Lifehunt scythe heal scales with the spell buff, at least from the testing i did, with a yorshka's chime and 99 faith you can get 232 hp per kill hit.
