that world exploration mechanic that has no point in ds2 is the elevator in forest of the fallen giants leading to the first boss fight. that elevator always are in the same state whenever u use it then respawn.

8:30 I love that to make a point you had to use a stabbing weapon and move your camera to the ground so that the ghosts blend into the fog XD Any sweeping attack will hit the ghosts and if you are looking even a little bit downwards with the camera you can clearly see the ghosts... It's not even that bad lol Also, you can just go around on the edge. As soon as I saw that area that was my first instinct. Then you just clear the very well visible ghosts one by one XD

DS2 was much more creative, the map was more interesting and had a lot of cool things. If the combat would have been as good as in DS1, it would have been the best DS in my opinion :D
