I witnessed an awkward wedding moment. They decided to do the "garter toss" thing, and had decided ahead of time (and announced it) that the guy who caught the garter (a 40ish friend of the groom) should put it on the leg of whoever caught the bouquet... which turned out to be the groom's 14-year old daughter. They still did it. Complete with "stripper" music. It. Just. Felt. SO. Icky.

I worked at at wedding where a MAP/pdf.file brought his date, she was so much smaller in stature, I almost wanted to vomit. I couldn’t look directly at it, it was like the sun, just god awful if you looked too long. And he was there among friends & acquaintances that just wrote it off or ignored it 🫢🤢🤮 disgusting.
