This could be: markasite, pyrite, chalchopyrite, or hematite with a golden iridecence or oxideayer over it. Depending on where this geode formed abd was found, if this is Kentucky, Illinois, Virginia, Tennessee, or Georgia; i would say yhis is either chalcopyrite or markasite. I would lean towards chalcopyrite.

I’ve seen Foolsgold once and it looks like fools gold but it could be gold but I believe it’s fools gold it’s called something else, but I don’t know. Remember the name. I used to collect stones a long time ago and my mothers sister-in-law used to do rocks she had a whole collection but that’s been many many years ago, but it’s interesting

Rock hound here and this does not look like a natural geode or thunder egg. Color is not right. Looks painted. Kind of clay like. Crystal structure is all wrong.
