Great tip brother! One of Hamkeas shooters did a really in depth video on rest timing and tests with a hooter shooter. They found the same results with to much launcher blade support and to little. Their conclusion was a minimum of 6" of shaft should be supported with an errect launcher blade.. any less caused some slight inconsistencies as well as way to much support. Your tips are awesome!! Good stuff! I definitely saw it today again. My groups opened up and realized my cable slid ever so slightly. Moved it back and instantly fixed it

Best tip for the hamskea is get rid of the old spring and football cable clamp and pick up the new style rubber cord dampener and arm with the built in cable clamp. Gets rid of relying on the spring.

Switched to an Hamskea drop-away when they first came out and haven’t looked back! There are too many fletching options and tuning is a breeze! Thanks!

I also love the Hamskeas. I personally think it's the best rest put there

Does the same concept apply to a cable driven rest?
@pinpointarchery212510 ай бұрын
It depends on what cable driven system the rest has. If it's a QAD or Ripcord it will have a build in clutch. So all that needs to be done is to make sure the marks line up at full draw

Does this adjustment stay the same for cable driven rests?
@pinpointarchery212510 ай бұрын
Usually the QAD/ripcord type rests have a clutch system of their own. The older cable driven systems dropped to soon. So they developed a clutch system for cable driven styles
