As a nurse, I have had to insert and remove pessaries for elderly women who have had prolapses. It’s not a pleasant experience for either nurse or patient. If we are able to prevent these interventions from being necessary, I think it’s going to be very beneficial. Interesting information!

Excellent info and interesting that in other countries pelvic therapy is routine preventative health care.

I cannot imagine a therapist putting their gloved hand in me while I did a kegel! 😖 But I am very glad these knowledgeable ladies are helping so many.

Thanks so much, AJ for having these wonderful ladies on your show. I may contact them to get help for my own chronic constant pain that I’ve had for 25 years. Numbness and pain have affected my life in a profound way.

I began leaking when I sneeze or cough, or sometimes I don't know why, after having a vaginal birth. No known issues after a c-section 13 years prior, but also was 40 years with that birth, and perimenopausal-seeming issues after.

Great info! Just heard of the importance of maintaining the health of the pelvic floor very recently. Would like to share also, few months back I discovered, the best tip Ever to prevent, even treat, most UTIs: D Mannose. Prevention is best, though and you may never have one again if a small maintainance dose is consumed. Check it out. Cheap, safe truly effective. 🙂

I have terrible PF problems and in the east coast rural area we don't even know what the word pelvis means unless you are talking about"Elvis". There is no one here to help. I would so like to know what to do. Couldn't you have some videos to help those of us who have NO opportunities to find a PFPT because no one knows what one is.

@@alexiss680 thank you. I will ..but my gynecologist doesn't know anything about it...she has heard something about it so that's amazing. I'll keep looking..and I appreciate your response.

Also research Mona Lisa. It’s a lazer technology but it’s pricey and of course surgery doesn’t comer. But ii is a game changer . It’s only been out 5 years ! I’m in Southern New Jersey and go to Virtua Secual Wellness. Any larger city has got to Have something similar! I was told 80% post menopause women have issues in pelvic floor! Good Luck!
