There are some very high quality Extremes here. It is obvious you did a lot of research analyzing most extreme demons in the game, showcasing levels with less notoriety alongside levels that receive the fame they deserve. However, to find the perfect extreme demon, you are forced to dig further. Broaden your scope. Search through every single extreme uploaded to RobTop’s servers. After this intensive quest, you will find the holy grail of Geometry Dash, nay the holy grail of gaming in its entirety, a treasure known only by the level’s 43 victors despite being an easy extreme. A level that is so underrated that likely through fear, RobTop exiled it alongside Conical Depression and Thinking Space by only giving this level a star rate. The treasure I am referring to is of course Electric Forest by Motheye. In late 2022, Motheye released Kingslayer, which was an instant favorite among the community. The level used the latter half of the song by the same name, which was a collaboration between Babymetal and Bring Me The Horizon. The track combined Babymetal’s upbeat high octave singing with Bring Me The Horizon’s rough screamo vocals, united with a bomb ass metal instrumental. In order to capture the polarity of the lyricists in the song, Motheye split the level in two halves, each with vastly different atmospheres, the first being a beautiful castle exterior with art that could hold up in the Louvre. The second half being much more chaotic. The diverse color palate of the first half being reduced to blood red. The stunning artwork being replaced by violent flashes and movements. The two halves were also separated by equally well crafted gameplay. The first half being fast paced in order to match the intensity of the song, but remaining relatively tame, with the second half featuring much more spastic size changes and chaotic wave gameplay. Unfortunately, when splitting the level in two halves, it was not a clean cut. The level had vastly different decoration and gameplay, but it also had vastly different difficulties. The first half was comparable to a high end Insane Demon, while the latter was undoubtedly more difficult than the legendary Bloodbath. The gameplay in isolation constructed an enjoyment rating as grand as the Titanic, yet the abysmal balancing was the iceberg that sunk my 10/10 to a measly 7/10. While still remaining a legendary level, Kingslayer is not fit as the perfect Extreme Demon. Motheye could have done better. The Geometry Dash community deserved Kingslayer in all of its glory. Fortunately, Motheye would deliver. Motheye would FUCKING DELIVER. Electric Forest is the sequel to Kingslayer. It takes place following the events of Kingslayer, with the description of Motheye’s first preview being “It’s time to move on.” Electric Forest has the same progression as Kingslayer, being split into the same two parts. Electric Forest, however, does not have the balancing issues carried by Kingslayer, being one of the most balanced Extreme Demons on the servers. Stopping there would already warrant a Mythic rating. However, the decoration and raw emotion present in Electric Forest is the best in the entire game. If Kingslayer could hold up in the Louvre, Electric Forest would fucking thrive. The Mona Lisa would be shadowed by the fucking ball part at 32%. Electric Forest is an accessible variant of Ascension to Heaven, if not even better. This level is perfect in the eyes of every human being on the planet. Except for one. This level was uploaded in what was likely a very busy time for Robert Topala. 2.2 was well over half a decade in the making. RobTop was likely working overtime in order to release the update to the starving community, unable to sink hours into analyzing levels well above his skill level. Electric Forest was victimized by this phenomenon, and after months was only star rated. This level deserves so much more than mythic. Years before even Kingslayer, top player Knobbelboy concocted the infamous God Eater, now known as Astral Divinity. The quality of this level is debatable, but Knobbelboy used an interesting term to capture the quality of the level. Knobbelboy titled the level a Divine Demon. This is the only rating that I believe fits Electric Forest, surpassing the quality attainable by mortals, and must be work of the divine. Electric Forest is undeniable proof that god is alive and well, and this goofball plays Geometry Dash.

Im so happy someone noticed Hopping over puddles. I beat this extreme long time ago and to this day I think it’s one of the best extremes I’ve ever touched in this game. Finally someone mentions clock tower my god. In my opinion it´s the best extreme demon and it should have been mythic but it got epic sadly. I have many reasons for that: The sfx is used perfectly, it fits the song so much that it even seems like if it was part of the song. The deco is absolutely beautiful, with alot of moving objets like if you were in a true clock tower. The song along with the deco and effects makes a pretty emotional level, and in my opinion mythics have to be something that represents or makes you feel an emotion, and clock tower does that perfectly with ithe song Gp wise, i have seen some completions and they say it´s really good (Also the gp is really creative, a memory style.) I just love the level, thanks for mentioning it.

Apollo 11 is the only one of these 10 levels that I've beaten, and I can confirm that it is an absolutely incredible level. However, there is one more extreme demon I've beaten that I consider better than Apollo 11, and that is the masterpiece that is Mystic Bounds

My current favorite extreme is Ruthless. That level is just perfect, the atmosphere, the decorations, the gameplay seems really fun to play. One day, when I will be good enough, I will surely beat it as a new hardest ( my current hardest is like 220 spots under it so it will take a bit for me to get there )

few things ill say about the extremes i know of #7: Hopping over puddles is agreeably terrible gameplay wise, its carried by a few clicks, and is miserable from 0. #6: Empyrean is a fair pick, its liked by a lotta people, although theres a lot of people who dont like the gameplay or overdecoration #5: Cytokinesis couldve been way better if the gameplay was more consistent, but also a good pick #4: Clock tower is good, but not #4 good, although it has good gameplay, it has rather inconsistent and awkward gameplay, which is only fun if youre way above the skill for it. #2: Protoflicker, gameplay wise, is terrible for the most part, it has 2-3 really awful parts that carry the difficulty, and has a random skip in the level that hasnt been fixed i cant comment on the othr levels but overall these are all good levels for the most part

I will be honest, most of these levels dont deserve a spot on this list (exceptions are maybe protoflicker and hopping over puddles). Its because of 2 things: First, you forgot one thing that makes an extreme or level in general good, optimization. The level can have S tier gameplay and S tier deco, but if someone can't run it because its not optimized (doesnt apply to phones, optimizing so phones can run something is basically impossible), its not perfect. This is not THAT important if you use cbf, but since its not yet approved by rob, I wouldnt count it just yet. Second thing is more subjective, but I feel like a perfect level needs to have gameplay that majority can enjoy. Lets take clock tower for example, its a cool level, the optimization isnt great, but lets ignore it for a bit. The gameplay might be fun for some, but overall its very niche and weird and definitely not for everyone. Personally, I will stand far away from it, that gameplay scares me. Length in levels also needs to be considered. I dont like overly long levels, but some people like them. So you need to find the perfect middle ground. Also, deco is very important here too. If the gameplay is straightforward, but because of the deco its hard to see, its not something that a person who enjoys straightforward levels will pick. Perfect levels are a levels that are good in all aspects, not levels that are amazing in most of aspects.

The only level that may suffer from optimization is Storming Summit. Despite not saying optimization is in the criteria in the beginning of the video, it is still something that I had thought about. Pretty much every other level is incredibly optimized. If you still can't run it then that's got to be your fault for not having a good enough PC, Storming Summit is the only exception. All the extremes put onto this video has the highest enjoyments in the entire game. These extremes are known to have some of the best and most consistent gameplay in any extreme demons, with the help of the enjoyment spreadsheet. So saying the gameplay isn't perfect could be more of a you problem given the fact of this data. I respect your feedback and I appreciate you watching and commenting! ❤

​​​@@TheActualGYT​ 1. I tried all of them using all possible ldm options and surprisingly, storming summit was very well optimized, better than other levels. Clock tower ran the worst out of all. 2. Saying that its their fault that they cant run a level because their PC isnt good enough is kinda disrepectful. Not everyone can afford a good setup. Thats why optimization is so important. 3. The levels might have the highest enjoyment, however that doesnt mean its for everyone. The levels are played by people who enjoy those types of levels, thats why their enjoyment is so high. Ofc there are people who can enjoy anything, but there arent that many of them. I enjoy something like hopping over puddles, but I dont think it should be on this list anyways, because not everyone enjoys pure timing gameplay (I said that it should be on the list, but thats why I put a "maybe" as I wasnt sure, I changed my mind).
