If you were given a word or concept as an answer to that, what difference would that make? What difference would it make to the reality of breath right now? To the reality of colour right now? All that such an answer will do is that you'll simply have a mental concept to believe in... Seems to me that it is much more worthwhile to become aware of the internal movement (hopes, fears, longings for certainty etc) that brought about the asking of this question.. Not outward looking for answers that I hope will solve my discomfort, but inward attention to the source of discomfort, attention to how the discomfort (the feeling that there is a problem here) is created. ("Attention" not only in the cerebral sense but wholistically, not as a static thought/conclusion ABOUT what is observed, but as a living/moving/dynamic attnetion. Conclusion-less and ever changing)

this is a classical philosophical problem about determinism and free will, if we are predetermined to act in a certain way, is it right to lock someone up for their crimes? Of course it is ok, because we need to protect each other. This is also the cause for compassion, because we can see through the lense of determinism that we are interdependent, and if we are open this should cause compassion to move through us.

but that's the problem, you are speaking hypothetically, conceptually trying to figure out non-duality through the use of intellect. Non-duality is not a concept in it's essence, it's a dissolution of all concepts, and what arises with that dissolution is a clear intelligence that acts according to the laws of nature in the moment, without any dogma or a belief which are artificial construct. Everything is happening by itself, life takes care of itself all the time with or without the idea of 'us' doing anything within it. It's so arrogant and ignorant to assume that it is our responsibility to control life.

And this has to be seen directly and cant be sort of given or told to someone. Like maybe it is not an ideology, maybe it is a realization. Whatever the case may be, people who have not realized this should treat this as an ideology and should not attempt to imitate it unless it comes naturally, because it might be delusional. Haha.
