Eh the big signings usually do their thing. CC and Cole. ARod won MVPs and a WS. Stanton has played well when he’s healthy and even stepped up in the postseason. Guys with injuries are separate from busts. Pitchers at the deadline - awful. But there’s a reason teams are moving them during the season. Soto already has the WS win and postseason resume. He should only do better hitting in Yankee Stadium

It was 440 over 15 years, so it was 29.3 every year. That was a deal they knew he wasn't going to sign. I think the Yankees should go in solid with a 450 over 10 year deal.

It's a high percentage. Not to mention all the extra money he's going to make from endorsements in NY. Offer $500-$600 million and that's it. Yeah it's more than Judge's contract, but Soto is 25 and will be 26 this off-season. Locked him up for years to come.

This has to stop really. I love baseball. It’s getting to a point where it’s becoming embarrassing. Where do you guys think the moneys going to come from? I think he is open to an extension, but it has to be a sensible deal. All of Scott's guys are offered a lot of years but low AAV, Soto's Nats offer was less than 30 a year for 15 years. He is getting more than that in arbitration.
