How did you get into product management? I have my scrum master cert and some other experiences that makes me a great product manager. Unfortunately, that experience is not in the Tech industry. How would I go about getting experience to get a PM position?

I am wondering If I can get your thoughts on this - I recently discovered product management but my impression so far is that I can be paid well (sweet sweet tech salary), don't need to code, don't need any special certifications/MBA/MS Computer Science (or any specific degrees for that matter) or specific experiences. Seems too good to be true. Wondering if I am missing something?

I don't think you could because you wouln't hace the experience required for managing the production if you don't know exactly what times are needed, what proffesionals are needed and all those notions that comes with experience. It's a position in which you'd get onoy by escalating

What's the least educational background required to become a product manager? I've seen people without any higher degree become product manager. Many of them started working in that industry right after they finished college. Just curious. I thought the least requirement was a BSc degree and an MBA?
