Hey everyone, so this is kind of a weird idea for a video, but I wanted to consider what some of the rarest in-game events could be. As in, the rarest things that can occur when in a trial. I asked my Discord members too on their ideas for this and they were a lot of help.

Tbh, I play Dredge quite often, and the locker grabs happen a lot, especially when survivor is locking the locker and you teleport into it

@@rabbidguarddog darkness revealed is the best locker grab perk! should also put on lethal pursuer for extended aura reading and just seeing where everyone is put on ottomarian writing so you get your power quicker on the match, worry stone so you might be able to see survivors who are going around locking lockers (could also pair with worry stone and caffeine tablets so you teleport to the right locker and not just go into a locked locker, alerting the survivor your there, and they just run away and now you gotta come out a locked locker). so just go to the nearest locker you can find at the start of the match, wait until you have your power, open the locker and look around, and see if there's a survivor going around locking lockers. teleport at just the right time and then you got em, easy super quick hook within the first few seconds of the trial! it can also sometimes work later on too if you get lucky it's rather difficult to pull off, but as someone who almost always plays dredge I've pulled it off a good few times. don't be mad if you can't do it though, you have to get very lucky

Definitely. Dredge grabs are not rare. Comparable to restocking hatchets as Huntress and accidentally yoinking a survivor instead. Kind of inevitable actually.

"Lament Guardian" is the scoring event for Pinhead if the survivors *don't* escape with the box. The scoring event for a survivor who escapes with the box is "Seeker of Pleasure."

For the Twins example, as rare as it is, it actually happened to me while I was going for the Twins Adept achievement. I think that the Twins being so rare means a bunch of players may not actually know about Victor's interaction with lockers, lmao

yeah newer players would have no idea i imagine. It only came about in a patch after they were first released to use bc survivors were spamming lockers against Vic and by the time charlotte could get to the locker the survivors were long gone

@@1SmB1fAn and their fix to that was to let Victor damage survivors that were in a locker by attacking it before they added the locker hold animation for him. That was so stupid looking bouncing at a locker and hearing survivors scream and lose a health state. They still need to fix that one as if you want to be annoying you can hold Victor hostage by maxing the breakout progress and then completing it before Charlotte is too close. They should change it so that if you stop you have to start all over again. Twins was maybe the most broken killer on release. Like nobody even thought about what if survivor goes into locker against Victor???

I had survivor do this to me when they knew Charlotte was far away especially on big maps. There is a timer and if you cant get there in time they basically bought a ton of time for their team and prevented a down by Victor.

The same reason it's often a good idea to jump in a locker against Oni when he's in his power. If you go down anyway, you might as well keep the pressure as minimal as possible.

You can also make a healthy Survivor have the Broken status effect by using Deathslinger and Forced Penance, shooting the healthy survivor while an injured survivor is nearby.

I've encountered maybe like, 3 Jonathan's in my almost 2000 hours of DBD. 2 of them were actually this year. one of the 2 seemed very unexperienced, like as if he just recently got back into DBD. I missed Jonathan, mostly because he's not in my collection of DBD survivors. here recently, I've been seeing a lot of stranger things content in DBD when I play, and what I mean is seeing anything besides the base cosmetic Steve, Nancy, and Demogorgon. it feels like a sin that Jonathan along with the other stranger things content was removed

Another rare grab happened to me when I was playing Myers during the lunar new year event. I found an envelope at the same time as a survivor and raced to get it. I was blinded by a flash bang and swung; or so I thought. I had grabbed the survivor off of the envelope. It was a rare experience and I just wanted to get it out there! :)

Regarding the Silent Hill secret chest, you don't need to complete the music room and chemistry room generators first. They just have to be 2 of the 5 generators completed in the trial. Also, while they are common spawns they aren't guaranteed spawns. The only way to guarantee those two generators spawn is to use the Mary's Letter offering.

As a frequent Jonathan player, thank you for the recognition!! ✌🏻BTW, “Lament Guardian” is the score event the Cenobite gets when the box stays in the trial as it ends. Survivors get the “Seeker of Pleasure” score event when they leave with it!!

Leaving with the Lament Configuration actually gives you a score event called "Seeker of Pleasure". And if the box stays in the trial while you're the pinhead you'll get the "Lament Guardian" score event

Fun fact for dredge, you auto grab survivors if they try to lock the locker you're in, although this is only as rare as teleporting to a locker with someone in it, in my experience

I feel like the rarest event might be seeing the midwich golden toolbox. You need a player slugged during most of the EGC, then in the last 20 or so seconds you need to be in the chemistry room. When is this ever going to happen in a public match?

I actually escaped through hatch a few months ago by opening it with a red or purple key that I had very randomly and luckily found in a Red Forest basement, while injured and the only one still alive. Went to basement hoping to find a medkit to heal myself and possibly have at least a slight chance of escaping a Blight. But when I saw him close the hatch and where it exactly happened and THEN found the key, I was thrilled! 🤩 It was a miracle (I didn't equip Plunderer's nor Ace in the Hole)

The Wesker one is ironically the exact thing you need to do to get his achievement. Though I have done it a few time by accident. I was in the corn on Thompson house and grabbed and injured survivor and managed to slam them into a hiding survivor who I didn't know was there. Very funny for me, but I imagine the survivor I was up against was spitting mad at their teammate

I definitely use the Twins locker feature at least once every time I go against her. If I'm injured, I feel it's better to be trapped in a locker across the map, then slugged and possibly left there for 2 minutes waiting for a pickup. More people should use this feature as survivor.

Regarding the hatch key one, I’ve only ever opened the Hatch with the key once, out of luck. I found it in a chest and basically just kept it until I was unfortunately the last survivor

There is another map with an extra chest - the Temple of purgation (the chest in the room that opens if you do the basement gen). Global Saturation js actually pretty common because you get it whenever you equip iri vial.

I’ve done the Wesker collateral slam one time, and what is never really mentioned, but that I found out when it happened, is that if the survivor you run into (not the one you grab) is injured, it puts them into deep wound, rather than downing them. This means that, despite almost no people knowing it and it being very rare, wesker can inflict deep wound base-kit, which I thought was pretty interesting.

I’m surprised you didn’t talk about the most rarest thing to happen in game. It’s so rare that it’s never even been done before. Escaping the 3rd way. I remember on a Q&A they did that someone said that there was actually a third way to escape the trial. Besides gate or hatch. And they said they have a detector in the game to let them know if anyone has ever done it yet. And to This day, no one has. Maybe a topic for a future video?

Dredge can also grab you when using deception on a locker as well, which i found out the hard way, i'd say thats pretty rare.

I was in a trial against a nurse, and my last teammate was dead on hook so I decided to do the gen for fun since I didn't think I'd get out. The moment I pop the gen and run for a bit I find the hatch before the nurse could get me. Fun times.

Ngl, i always keep shit like this in mind when playing the game. Like a "something you dont see everyday" list I'll actively lock lockers around the map to see if i get grabbed by the Dredge (I did) id try to head on Victor to see if he would lock me inside (He did) i even managed to get a Kate who was fully condemned to escape with a heal tech. The next thing ive been trying to do with Deathslinger that you forgot to mention is going into the locker after getting harpooned. Some insane plays i think shouldve made the list are things such as getting a flashlight (or pallet) save after using Deliverence, double flashlight saves in solo queue, mori 2 people with Rancor, getting ricochet downs while in Main Event, get Beast of Prey value, are just a few that come to mind. Some of these i was able to do, some i failed on my one and only attempt, and others im still trying lol
