So many wonderful points you brought up! My additional thought…a big problem I see is that selfishness/self-serving has people putting themselves before others, their needs/desires above their partner, family, community, etc. And it is often disguised as “self-love.” Self-love IS important, but not at the expense of those you care about. All relationships (romantic, friendship, family, community) should be mutual, both sides giving their all so both sides’ needs/desires are met. Just my two cents. 🙂

Watching your video is a relief so, I’m a cab driver over on the east coast and being conscious I see everything. The difference in certain neighborhoods, counties even other cities. The separation, I listen to passengers talk about working many jobs to still fall behind. The rich get richer from lower to middle class and why are the people paying taxes to still live in inhabitants, drug infested, poverty, violence as if they want us to relive trauma over and over again.

I continually refer to this pattern as “The Me Generation”. It’s so hard for me to continue so many relationships and get chastised for helping those in need. It’s so exhausting trying to get people to understand we need to take things back a few notches. People don’t even put the dots together that the Earth is trying to cleanse itself because I believe that humans are the most destructive force on this planet 😢. Thank you for referring to the civilizations that have crumbled and we are headed right for it but a large majority sticking their fingers in their ears and saying “ la la la la” Have an amazing weekend ❤

Good one Vital I’m also a bit of a socialist. I’d like everyone to take care of each other. I’ve been a midwife for thirty years but I quit four years ago. I’ve come to realise that most people are essentially selfish. I’m learning to be more selfish and how to protect myself from narcissists. That is I’m developing stronger internal boundaries. Is it a middle road perhaps? We need more love …real love. If there is enough love then taking care of people is effortless!! Love is a two way street. We all need enough money to live respectfully and to have our survival needs met. As a teenager I knew that those with power and control on our planet. That is the very wealthy do not care about starving children. If they did then the starvation problem would be fixed very quickly. I’m rambling on …🙏💜🌸 Thankyou I enjoy your videos.

I love your channel . I am a born empath plus I suffered from severe Narcissistic Abuse for 20 years . Me and my family learnt only through experience. My intuition and , visions , dreams , manifestations have become true as miracles . Infect I am out if the abusive relationship because of my prayer . I do need therapy bug cannot afford it .

1) we chose before this life to experience this type of trauma in order to become empaths. 2) the way Society has evolved with mass media & telecommunication is a breeding ground for narcissism. 3) Everything carried to its extreme becomes its opposite was said by I think Lao Tzu. 4) I think that on Earth there are have always been extreme power differentials in every culture. 5) ultimately the distinction between Self & Other is a false dichotomy, thus the distinction between Narcissist & Empath is as well. Both are generated in the Mother/Child dance of Peek a Boo. 6) it's not Money that's the root of all evil, it's the Love of Money, or the attachment. Money is a medium of exchange. Exchange is the key. Self & Other in eternal exchange is the name of the game of life. Just my thoughts.

The other thought that comes to mind is: In a polarity construct, there has been a degrading of "the feminine" intuition, empathy and compassion, etc. are associated with the "feminine." There have been times in the past where these qualities were respected and represented leadership and guidance for communities. Many are saying these times are a rebalancing and the return of the divine feminine. So on a grounded level I witness more and more people's hearts opening, questioning the accepted beliefs and programming, seeking to find their soul's purpose and mission and embracing a path of emotional psychological growth and development. I do NOT think we are just meant to be weirdos, with "foolish romantic notions" feeling like we do not belong here as we do not fit in and the worlds density is too much - overbearing, intolerable, or just a dump and feed source for "narcissists." LOOK AT HOW MUCH WE HAVE LEARNED FROM THOSE EXPERIENCES BECAUSE OF OUR GIFT OF PERCEPTION.

Hey Vital 👏🏻. Listening to how Empaths ARE. How about both Nature: WE Chose to be prior to birth. Nurture: BECOMING the children of narcissists, enabled US to hone the tools of Compassion, Unconditional Love, Empathy. Integrity is a word that I have often used as MY PERSONAL mirror. I have walked away from high paying jobs because the COST to my family was too much. . widowed, I have two children, my dad kept arguing that I could make more money by getting a job in the San Francisco area. That would have meant dropping my kids off at daycare at 6:00 am, to Get to work by 8:00 am, leaving work between 5 & 6:00 pm. . Driving home to arrive between 7:00 & 8:00. I would have to depend on my Mom to pick up my kids ( that was a NOT issue as my daughter was an angel and my son was, well she did not like him) fear of how he was treated, manipulated. One thought just passed through my mind. My daughter was (this is all getting way off track) a lot like my mom, both Capricorns, lol!! And my son is VERY like me. . Sensitive in his ADHD. He can walk into a room and know exactly whom and how to push their buttons to get the reaction he feels off of them . .I don't even know if that makes sense. . . Having an Empathic child . . really makes me reflect on the nature vs nurture issue. As his Mom, I was his defender, his shield and I often shared my insights with him. . .hmmm. Yes in the GREED issue. . For some reason, when you mentioned Cultures and demise if such, my mind went to King Louis XVI and the French Revolution. . Although it has been debunked that Marie-Antoinette ever DID say "Let them eat cake" it's still the issue of the disparity and LACK of compassion for their starving subjects that incited the people to revolt. . . As I attended Catechism very young (family was not Catholic), aged 5, the concept OF Unconditional Love, not being part of my families Creed (?), I fell in love WITH Christ. . And was introduced To Our Heavenly Father. . I found a lot to chew on (mentally lol) in your ESSAY on Empaths. . . I wonder if in 200 years your books will be looked upon as Essays on Modern life in the 21 century. . 😉. Thank You Truly.

First timer to you. I have been reluctant to call myself a Sigma, but I cannot deny my empathetic ability. No idea if it's natural, but can see every aspect of the effects of trauma and nuture, with a side of MKUltra based brainwashing at USMC bootcamp in my early 20's. I’m starting to sometimes dislike whenever I say the word “I” or “Me”. Not in an over-critical way, but it’s like what even is “I” or “me”…because in the grand picture, it’s all We. All One. Definitely agree.. greed, a kind of addiction, is the downfall of society. That is recorded in the historical record. The values you speak of as an empath I perceived as the "grounding of heaven on earth.". I think it is possible and in progress. Perhaps because we FEEL we cannot get so distracted (caught up in materialization..more, more, more), or so numbed out we tolerate social injustice or causing such imbalance as to threaten earths ability to sustain organic life. People DO NOT SEE THE POSSIBILITIES WE DO. So perhaps it is our empowerment and accountability to express and share them with others. I think there are enough people realizing our system is not working (look at what happened with elections in US), that more and more people are willing to try something different and ready for change. And we are learning ourselves and understanding our gifts and gathering. That synergy is powerful.

If people knew how to build homes and grow food, we wouldn’t need anything else. No money, no debt slavery, no hierarchy. We should teach people how to be self sufficient by age ten, then we do whatever we want with the rest of our lives. Most people are slaves and there’s maybe 20% of the population living well off their misery. Most people do jobs because of fear of losing housing and food. Stop living in fear, there is abundance.

The problem with capitalism is that property is above humans and the kind of communism applied to some countries didn't give the control of the production means to the people but the State. We can't forget corruption which has a huge part in greed and accumulation of resources. The power of the rulers are still in the hands of economical oligarchies and let's be honest, they don't fight wars, they win them. The State is necessary even in a capitalist country, otherwise there wouldn't be the most essential infrastructures because rich people won't pay anything unless is for their use and only for them. Besides, if the human race wants to keep the planet we depend on for survival, some balance must come because we don't have a planet B or C and rich people are usually narcissistic; they would blow the world at their death bed if they had the means. They might be great at manipulation but that doesn't make them smarter.
