I’ve used Turo. I can’t see any way the company could have prevented this. It’s similar in many ways to other car rental companies, except that the car owners rent the car through the platform.

Turo is a company that allows people to rent from other everyday people. I have used them in emergencies because they don't require the deposits like the big companies do. It's odd that both of these events used an unknown company like Turo.

I've used Turo 🚘 Orlando.gov area off and on since 2019. It's decent. I've only had 2-4 negative vehicle rentals 📂 . The company is ✔️ overall.

I just rented from turo last week and about 6 times prior. They are a good company that offers less hassle than the bigger companies and plus they help individuals gain income on vehicle’s that are just not being used.

I've used Turo several times and frankly it's a lot better than the shit rental car companies. Pity they got dragged into this. I don't rent cars often, but I'd gladly use Turo again.

I bought supplemental insurance on my Turo rental. Some yahoo backed his pick up into it in a parking lot. I documented it and just returned it as usual. No hassles, no problems, they took care of the entire fix. Was a helluva lot easier than dealing with the usual rental car companies. I will not hear a bad word against Turo. They rock!

Depends. Some insurance companies allow and some do not. Important to note that Turo’s policy covers a trip.

Stop focusing on the rental app. I'd bet they have nothing to do with it but the negative attention will probably hurt them. Please, before you speak of something, research it! The truck came from the far end of Bourbon street! The sidewalks are far too NARROW for a full size vehicle to even attempt to drive on! Let alone get around the Lamp posts without crashing into a building to get on the sidewalk! With Bourbon street, coming in from the River end of it, you won't have any barriers until you're at least half way up Bourbon Street!
