There will be parallels throughout this Power Universe. We know young Ghost and Tommy were under Breeze and Kanan in the streets. I think Tariq and Brayden being two silver spoon kids will finally play the streets but in Chicago and under Tommy and Diamond. This will make Tariq and Brayden more street smart and learn. The Dahlia drug could play a part in connecting Book 2 and 4. In the end, I think Tariq will actually make it out, realizing his father was right.

Tariq and Brayden are on the run. Going back to Stansfield is not an option right now. It's going to take a while before that can happen. I don't believe he will forgive Diana. She wanted him more than he wanted her. He never had feelings for her like Lauren or Effie. If he winds up with any of them it would probably be Effie. Even though she stabbed him in the back. I believe at some point during Season 4. Effie will save Tariq. Just like Obi calling Brayden. She made it clear when she got out of jail. Effie still loves Tariq.

I do not see there being a happy ending if I’m honest. The show will either end with Tariq dying ( highly likely) or going to prison ( less likely but would be a welcome end. Tommy only drove off into the sunset because they set up his spin off it wasn’t a happy ending. Tommy will definitely die by the end of his spin off - most of the time these sort of hot heads die relatively easy but Tommy being the most popular character on the show sort of had to have his own spin off. Both him and Tariq will have lost everyone that ever mattered to them In the end so they could even commit suicide

I think tariq will continue to deal drugs, rise to power then realize he wants to go a different path. That's where we'll see him slowly trying to start a political career only there'll be obstacles keeping him in the drug game. Someone will always want their weight being pushed so I can see someone blackmailing him by threatening to out him as ghost 2.0 and he'll be forced to push weight even though ge wants out and wants legitimate power.
