I think "the theory of mind" is I and Thou. It is about conscious connection to our world. Thanks for the video.

I would recommend the use of the theory of brain dimension connection. In my research, "How people respond to life-challenges with a ten-dimensional ecosystem of support," I found that the coping skills, resources, and relationships people have are ten-dimensional (spiritual, emotional, social, cultural, intellectual, environmental, political, economic, physical, and recreational. The description you have for brain theory is not just social, but the connections between the different dimensions that make up who we are. HeartMath Institute is currently working on advancing their studies of the heart energy which is proving to be seven times that of the mind and suggesting that the heart also has a mind of its own called conscience. Since there are connections between the mind and heart, it would seem wise to connect the two in order to understand the inner workings of the brain more fully.

You can add more connections to the Body. For instance - Desires relate to different Body-Parts. They influence the Mind and even Who you Are, and what you'll go through, through life.

Isn't the cool mysterious name we gave it, "mentalizing"? I just saw a whole MIT lecture on this exact subject.

I would name this theory as 'Theory of Life' (social life) because we would not be able to do anything without it. Another name I dislike and disapprove of is 'Theory of Dysfunction', being autistic is not a dysfunction, it is a different function, sometimes above the average, sometimes not very functional. Despite the impairments, we need to name the theories with a more inclusive name...

There is a name for this function in of the mind called sense making . Unfortunately not everyone agrees to what makes sense as it is based on your own opinions formed from previous experiences .

sounds like a "Flatland" version if we are not able to be 2nd level or greater "Theory of Mind" .. or a bias of thought?

I'm an (lets say mildly) autistic person and that picture of a dog feels insulting. I think it's rather inept.

This needs to be explained by a nd, not an nt. I only know what someone else wants if they tell me. I don't assume, I think it's rude.
