Hey Joel. Nice playing man! What sort of things do you go over in your practice schedule?

Hey Luke, I go over time keeping techniques (playing to click and Benny Greb's gap click). Also fluidity of groove. I practice sight reading and playing along to big band charts. I go over recording techniques (volume control between snare, kick and hats etc). Also I practice brushes a lot (playing along to Bill Evans, Miles Davis etc). And practicing the charts I've got to play for shows I've got coming up, plus practising my bands set for tours I've got coming up!
