Today with are hitting a local op shop on the Gold Coast to look at all the home decor and homeware goodies.
This is what thrifting in Australia looks like, come in to salvos / Salvation Army with me and shop until we drop!

Cool video...That mirrored dressing table at $45 was a great bargain for someone who restores furniture. About 8 years ago I bought one that was professionally restored and I paid $500 for it. Earlier this year I was wanting to rearrange my bedroom so I was going to sell the dressing table, and my 16 yr old granddaughter asked if she could buy it (cheaply) from me so, I ended up giving it to her for free and the hubby helped her install it in her bedroom.....I wonder if that picture display at the end (on the easel) was for sale. I notice recently, when I go thrifting and see something quirky or unique on the top shelves, there is always a sign on it that says display only/not for sale...I don't know why they do that....
