Had to watch it a second time, cause the first time I laughed too much. That's what I call infotainment, thank you!

I have an animation scene in blender with 16000 frames, and each frame takes approx 2 mins to render. Would it be better and faster to export the entire scene as a USD and then import it to UE5 and render it there?
@zarcojayu22915 ай бұрын
yeap thats the best way but make sure to use proper render settings

You were wrong about FBX, it was created by Kaydara, a Canadian company that developed motion capture software. Kaydara was later on acquired by Autodesk, with FBX being one of the main reasons why they were acquired. Of course - Kaydara Filmbox is the basis of Autodesk Motion Builder too, Autodesk being Autodesk made a great job spoiling what was great about FBX and turning that into a big mess, but that is a different story...

Is it safe to use USD now? I think I tried it 4 months ago to save a sculpt and it took up less file size which is nice

Ah, now we're selling 3d art in USD too. Nice move Biden.

Si estoy modelando en Blender, pueden colaborar otros artistas en tiempo real y con otro software como cinema4d, otro usuario con maya...etc, al mismo tiempo, es decir no importa el software que cada uno este utilizando? Es asi o lo entendi mal ?

if they get everyone to move to USD will they just patent and license it like H.265?

.obj was first developed by Alias|Wavefront Maya. Back then it was owened by a fund in Canada. Some years later it purchased by Autodesk witch at the time had products like 3Ds max Mudbox and AutoCad

You know Wavefront was a precursor to Maya right? Joined with Alias and together eventually became Maya

Apparently DAZ3D isn't on the list incorporating USD. Very sad.
