Misty is a definitely top tier character for me. The whole show I’m literally clueless as to what she’s going to do next, both as a teen and an adult. She’s just a joy to watch. Her and Nat are my favorite two characters, with maybe Shauna pulling in third.

@@maliamalis6389 I like her because she’s crazy and unpredictable. It keeps the action interesting and often funny. I mean-she has her dark side but it’s never from a place of true evil. It’s either from a place of loyalty or trying to assert herself more. Yes, she’d be a terrible and toxic person to know in real life, but she makes for an infinitely fascinating character to watch.

@@valentinafangirling Yeah, she’s not the protagonist I’d say, but she’s definitely the instigator. A lot of plot hangs on Misty doing something rash or off-kilter and the rest of the group responding. I mean the rest of the characters make questionable choices too, but not as often and to the degree Misty just goes off the rails.

no actually she thought it was a GPS box but it's not. it's just a video recorder box so it would've recorded what was happening on the plane before it crashed, wasn't sending out any signals for them to be rescued. so technically misty is not the reason they're stuck there the whole time.

I'm not sure if you've heard of the novel Lord of the Flies, but it's about a bunch of boys who get stranded and devolve into chaos and immorality. There's long been this idea that girls are too nice & non-violent to ever do something like that; this show is basically a huge rebuttal.

This is not a spoiler, but yes the background characters with no lines will eventually in season two and every reactor says, "Where did these people come from"? You see them at the crash and at the funeral for the people who died in it.

Not really. Nearly all the new girls who appear in season 2 were cast after season 1 was done filming. It was one of the aggravating things - but far from the only thing - that made me give up on the series around episode 3 of season 2.

I hope you guys grow to like Taissa. Instead of looking for one particular villain just consider all of them victims who have done fucked up things. They were already really young before the crash, I imagine this experience didn’t really aid to their growth as human beings. They’re probably a little stunted because they spent those 19 months starving and terrified.

What Misty destroyed was the Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT), not the Flight Recorder (black box). Planes carry both & they're different things. As per the AOPA, "..ELTs are mounted aft (tail) in the airplane and designed to be triggered upon impact...Activation of the ELT triggers an audio alert and 406-MHz ELTs transmit GPS position for search and rescue..." The black box with the flight information has its own sonar ping for location when a plane crashes in water. They both have time expirations. Most people don't understand the difference.

If I was stranded and starving, yeah, I'd probably eat the ones who died, but I wouldn't kill people in order to eat them. I feel like Natalie is the only person who didn't grow up to be a bad person...at least, she's the only person who feels any guilt for the things she did. I would not want to know any of the others. I feel like they wouldn't even hesitate to kill you if you'd felt they'd threatened them. Violence has become easy for them.

You don’t even mind if she is confirmed to have literally done so many bad things because she’s still helpful when it all hits the fan (at least for our allies).

I’m a misty hater till the end lmao. Everything happened because of this scene at the end. She liked attention so she literally condemned them to hell for 19 months. Mind you hating her does not mean i dont think the character is important. Arguably without Misty there’s no show bc she kinda makes the plot happen, and is unpredictable af. The writing for her character is great bc psychologically she is so fucked is very interesting to watch and analyze. Love to see her on the screen, but still hate her to bits lol

Since WestWorld and Euphoria , and Black Mirror it is one of my fav shows of all time , I advise you to watch a pretty cool one made by the guy who created Glass Onion, and Knives out called Pokerface with Natacha Lyonne, it's like X files episodes , not really connected, each is a little murrder mystery and and it is fun because of Lyonne's ability to shine... but Yellowjackets is crazy good .. Season 2 is pretty intense since it starts ... I hope season 3 will come out next year .... Keep up the great work guys , love you all.
