Jafaa# Even as a woman, I feel Andaleeb slapping moiz ..that too in front of everyone was too much. She could just have a clear and strict conversation with him that she has moved on. If the situation was reversed it would have been condemned heavily by audience/reviewers. Unnecessary slapping whatever maybe the gender is not justified.

@Rima0217 The issue with Pakistani dramas lies in their tendency to exaggerate every situation. I mean that slap was totally over the top. Plus she had already told his friends to accompany Moiz to the auditorium indicating that she had planned the slap beforehand. This was completely unnecessary. The creators of PTV dramas believe that an angry female character represents true women's empowerment.

Nadaan: I loved the positivity of the 3 youngsters, working in most adverse conditions. Very pertinent problem of drugs being addressed as the central theme. The jahalat and vulnerability of awaam and the menace of peeri fakeeri and taweez being used to spread drugs, was an eye opener. Very sensible of the father to stop his daughter from engaging verbally with a gunda and advising her to fight the right way with proof. Fast paced, crisp, realistic, good story, good execution, good performances.

I’m not sure why but I feel that the writing lacks strength. Everything else is strong including direction, acting and storyline especially the performances by Ahmed and Ramsha. The storyline is engaging but the dialogues are just average. But it’s still a good watch. I am glad PTV is at least trying to make something new.

Aamna's 100% right on Bismil, what TT is doing is morally and in every aspect just wrong. TT's character is absolutely grey theres no black or white - his inner voices and all(which was btw a problematic dialogue to have in the first place,, but that too was to show what kind of a despicable person he is! Bismil's story - i see it exactly the way Aamna explained. Hasan, I think spoke from a man's perspective! The story is in no way portraying TT's character in a good light - without mincing words, Aamna said it perfectly what TT is all about!

Bismil: no Hassan, Aamna is right. You missed some scenes, while Aamna is dead on point. Please understand there can be a disagreement, and not everything a drama says is b&w or whatever they are showing is a moral fact. It’s showing us the moralities of characters. Just because TT was shown happy, doesn’t mean he had a “perfect” relationship which at that time may have been for him. He was fine, until Masooma came around and induced in him his innate desires of power and dominance. Masooma, in one scene, told him that a man should lead, TT didn’t say anything, but observed. Which is why he started getting angry at Reham. His monologues are his justifications for betraying Reham; not absolute facts or “messages” as Hassan is portraying. They could’ve been done more intelligently, because this could easily go the other way, which for some it did. Aamna’s perspective is correct since she sees it with a woman’s perspective.

Nadaan: It's so great to see such dramas coming up, unapologetically honest about grim conditions and superstitions prevailing in orthodox areas. Only Sultana Siddiqui could have done this. So happy to see Ramsha Khan in two "wild wild west" styled dramas but in completely different roles. Also Kashif Hussain is doing very good work in the negative role. I watched him first in Churails and then in Razia, he was great in both and showed so much potential. I hope we keep seeing him in more dramas. Ahmed Ali Akbar didn't show much in the 1st episode but I guess his character will be better fleshed out when all the flashbacks are explained.

aqeel was really good since day 1. You guys noticed him too late. People were loving him or at least acknowledging him since the initial days bcz he was definitely coming out as an all rounder. Good humor, great friendships, great at tasks, great at duties, great at keeping his stance without disrespecting others, and an over all entertainer. Saima was only highlighted in a negative light. Arslan was a good player but he only was able to come out more strongly because of his bond with aqeel. wajeha was good at the start but lost her charm when she started giving up in tasks and the whole scenario with aqeel. Anam's journey has also been great, the way she made her way through top 5 was commendable. Aqeel deserved it the most.

I thought you guys would SHOWER praises on Nadan. What an incredible Drama ! Astonishing, eye-opening for many and it kept me intrigued throughout. I was blown away just by the fact that it is not the same old saas-bahu saga, husband-wife shaadi etc etc. I mean what an important courageous socio-religious and sensitive topic to begin with. DRUGS and Peer baba uff, politics and corruption what a combo ! I say religious because this what religion means to soo many people....peer peer peer ! And what amazingly strong characters; from the female lead Doctor to the morally upright SHO. Both determined and willing to do the right thing ! When was the last time we saw a topic like this on drug culture shown soo openly on TV? Also Hassan i personally think spoon-feeding is required in a Drama like this(atleast in first episode) because we know that the Awaam is not used such topics, and we also know majority of them follow this Peer muridi tradition with great severity stubborness and even pride. These peers and corrupt people need to be exposed and humiliated not once, not twice but as many times. And if TV can do that even a little bit then it is a very bold step and praise-worthy.I know so many people who have been looted by these peers, exploited and I personally even lost a distance to suicide because of depression and this peer baba exploitation. Im an Indian from Mumbai, and this Peer Baba culture is rampant in my many places. So its a topic not only limited to Pakistani audience but everyone. Please ENCOURAGE people to watch it ! As far as entertainment quotient is concerned Nadaan Drama for me was more gripping than Duniyapur first episode because of how close it is to reality. It really gave me thrills in certain scenes, like the pagal ladki, the peer murid character, discovery of the ice medicine in the end(lab-report). GREAT DRAMA. GREAT DIRECTION ! Great acting by everyone.

Amna is so right!! Jafaa is not a love story or fairytale in either of the tracks. The whole concept of the show is summed up in one line of OST, "yaar tere ishq may Jafaa bhi hai wafa bhi hai". Its a story of two relationships which have both good moments and bad moments. Hasan and Zara's Jafaa (betrayal) is Hasan himself and his anger issues. Numair and Andaleeb's Jafaa is Moiz!!

Jafaa: Continuous mystery surrounds the two relationships. Andaleeb is pregnant and Numair was shown taking a prescription from a doctor. His behaviour is strange, Does he have a terminal disease, or is doubting Andaleeb, as he says, “ waqai aurat Aik pehlei hae”. Who is Nazia? Hassan’s first wife for dadi did mention about his first wife leaving him ? Every episode raises new questions, but these also keep the interest alive in the drama.

Last week, we talked about Numair's impotency or fertility issue but the latest episode left me really confused. Now there are two possibilities first Numair might be impotent meaning nothing happened between him and Andaleep but his mother being a typical desi mom thinks Andaleep is pregnant. The second possibility is that he isn't impotent but has fertility problems which makes him question how Andaleep could be pregnant if he has those issues. But what really puzzles me is why he acts so strangely when Andaleep shows her love for him and why he isn't happy about this change.

In Jafaa Moise asks his friends to leave him alone. Andaleeb realizes that she has left her bag in the basement and when she wants to go to pick it up Numair offers to do so. It is obvious that he met Moise there and Moise has painted a very different picture than what actually transpired.

I have a theory about Jafaa I think when Deebu tried to commit suicide she probably got some blood work done and Numair found out that she has some kind of illness. Nadaan: it’s good but it didn’t seem like a Mehreen Jabbar’s drama, the dialogues were not subtle, too in your face, whereas MJ’s work is always subtle. Let’s hope next episode will be better. Omg! However, Zakir mistakenly thought she had left the industry because of him, but it turned out to be a simple misunderstanding. Faraar's teaser was boring! Same old crime drama! Need something new plz. Also why always the camera work and production level or the frames of Next Level Entertainment so low? Finally Nadaan was really good. Thoroughly enjoyed the series

#tamsha3. The titles were given by votes on ARY ZAP app. A lot of people were nominated in these categories. There was a wave of Aqeel support and one could see it every where hence he won two of the better titles as well. Thanyou Amna for saying that Saima was on a one dimensional mode ,toxic and narcissist. The incident you mentioned,she refused to play the game and rest of the house mates were told if she doesn't play ration will be taken away meaning they will be punished for her brat attitude. Had badshah stepped in at that time and punish Saima for that or whenever she body shamed people or used abusive language,it would have been better for her as well. She was so unfairly supported by badshah that she thought I am doing so well which wasn't true and the number of votes came as a shocker for her in the end.

Jafaa…Please, Hassan, I had to stop making rotis to give my take. I think Numair has some kind of semi terminal sickness, and he didn’t want to get married until he was completely in the clear. He did like Andleeb when he first saw her, so ended up giving in to the pressure, and later decided to save her as a friend and offer her a haven. Now that she’s professed her love, he’s worried what will happen to her if he doesn’t respond to the treatment. Hassan issue…. My take is that of Aamna’s . His father, in a fit of rage might have killed the mother, and his grandmother helped cover it up. Her guilt is in hiding the truth from Hassan. She’s not party to the murder itself.

#BISMIL: I am having the same feeling that the drama is borderline demonizing sawera nadeem's character and TT is being given reasons, hence it causes me to not continue watching this drama. Lines such as these are rampant in this drama.

Disappointed to hear that Nadaan is a mini series. I think to do mini series and release one episode a week doesn't really do justice to the audience- It takes a while to connect with the story and characters, and then its over and you are left wanting for more of story arc. If mini series must be made then it would be helpful to release all episodes at once- like they do in Netflix etc. Then one can watch them over three for four days for a better viewing experience. I would have enjoyed Mann Joni more if it could have been binge watched and not one episode a week for nine weeks. I still think that Pakistani stories and story telling is more suitable for 25- 35 episodes airing twice a week. Exception being the likes of KMKT which can probably hold the attention for 40 episodes even.

Ni yar Hassan Amna, in Jafaa its not Hassan's sad who killed his wife. Its actually Hassan has been married before and he mistakenly killed his first wife. Dadi is guilty because dadi got him married n trusted his grandson too much n believed that he can control his anger issues

I never comment. But Hassn's review about Bismil in a continus basis forces me to say this. Aamna is correct, Hassan not everything is black and white. TT is grey, and yes he is solely responsible for being dishonest in his relationship. However, it doesn't mean that his wife is super subservient bhooli bhaali woman. Showing flaws in her character isn't to sway the viewers but simply being realistic. Hassan, for couples who are long married yes partners do take each other for granted and know how to push buttons. TT is on the extreme for taking the normal life of long corporate marriage to cheating. There is no black or white in life, everyone has vices - how you react to it makes the actions good or bad.

Aqeel was the ultimate entertainer and kept the house alive! He had his share of fights but never caused drama or used bad language, and he was also a good singer, which is why people loved him. And best part was making paratha's for everyone Aqeel, Wajeha, and Arslan totally deserved the top 3 spots. Wajeha was the only truly stylish person, and her dance moves? Absolutely cool! Saima was a pain in the ears, too! 😱😱 Over confident and full of herself. The voting spoke loud and clear about her attitude and cringe-worthy language. And the fight over a burger with Humna? That was just sick! Anum was also a pain 🙄🙄in the ears, constantly stretching issues without any reason and talking unnecessarily, while always playing the gender card.😵‍💫😵‍💫
