Ye janne ke lie ki data trustworthy hai ya nahi. Sample mean deviate karta hai apne population mean se, ek limit Tak hi ye variation aana chahie(confidence interval), taki hum keh sake ki data humara actual me represent kar raha hai population ko. Jitna door hoga wo utna hi apni population se door jayega,aur data sahi se apne population ko represent karne me fail ho jayega, basic purpose hi fail ho jayega stats apply karne ka. Isilie ek hum confidence level establish karte hai ki sirf yahi ek limit hai jaha Tak data actual me population ke characteristics ko dikha raha and iska result valid hai Variance agar jyada hai to ye sampling error dikhata hai. Variance is inversely proportional to reliability of the data

he is using that formula x - mean thats why x = 4 is and mean is 5 . (4 - 5) and then next datapoint which is 6 so now x = 6 - mean(5) this is a formula to get variance or u can use standard deviation formula and square it to get variance
