What I learnt from this speech and historical event is that true victory is in obedience, in discipline, in patience, in adopting to change, in not reacting or over-reacting, in not being angry, in trusting the process even if we cannot see what it might lead to, and if it will ultimately lead us to our desired goal or not, and above all victory is in just blind faith and trust in Allah and His Messenger.

Mehmet Kara We can't let them say whatever they want. If we do they'll just take it as a sign that they are right since we aren't denying them. And aside from that, you say they won't harm Islam anyway. The reasons why we have our generations of kids leaving Islam is probably because of the way today's society depicts our religion. As a religion full of hate, violence, and constant discrimination. I agree this guy is probably a very educated and smart person but we can't simply step back from debates guessing that they won't listen to you. Not everyone from the western world is heartless, some of them will listen and when the numbers get big enough, we will eventually make change. We can't walk away from the attackers of our religion hoping that they won't do harm. Take a stand and change how the world thinks of us. If we sit back and let them say whatever they want to say, then we can't blame everyone in the west for going against us if we're not going to provide a counter argument and show them what is really in our religion.

+Saifuddin Mohammed Yes brother, I agree with you. However, you didn't get my point. I didn't say we should not have conversation with people (due to lack of knowledge) attacking Islam. We should always have conversation with such kind of people and try to inform them with dialogue. That's the prophet way. As soon as you realize they don't listen, take a step back. You can not tell anything then. I didn't mention that western people are heartless that's your interpretation.
