It is because he is a legend, and Japan knows how to make good bands to perform in their animeshon, unlike the rest of the world

they brought in real professional artists to compose, arrange, and perform the songs. both the original mangaka and the creative leads for the show absolutely love j-rock (every manga chapter opens with a half-page "spread" of the characters imitating an album cover, music video, or promo shot of some famous j-rock band) so they definitely had a strong vision for the vibe they wanted each track to have, and bringing in real pros to help make that vision come true really paid off. i think i read somewhere that the actual album they released when the show finished airing hit #1 on japan's charts, or maybe it was some of the singles from the album (it's 14 tracks long, and they released 9 of them as singles-that's REALLY high.) they put their all into this passion project and i'm so glad it paid off because not only did the world get a really awesome show and album to enjoy, but also i'm sure everyone on the team ended up feeling like their passion was rewarded. we all know the anime industry can be brutal with huge amounts of overtime, and even if they were mostly doing it because they all wanted to work on this really bad, the people at cloverworks did work themselves nearly into the ground at times to make this all happen, so they deserve all this praise and more.

did you guys know that Yuuho Kitazawa from the Peggies composed this song, i was kinda devastated after they went on hiatus but I'm overjoyed to see her still in action, the melodies and guitar harmonies just give peggies vibes. This was the song i was most excited to hear due to the cool asf melodies 🛐🛐🛐🗣️🔥🔥 Can i please ask you to cover the Urusei Yatsura ED Tokyo Shandy Rendezvous by MAISONdes? the vocal melodies in that song are absolutely nuts and ive seen so many good guitarists cover that song too but i wanted to hear your spin on it 🛐🛐😭😭🙏🙏
