Great production quality, sound and image!! One nitpick, for the next video make background music less audible as it's distracting sometimes

Good review! However, I dont agree with the fact that the movie has to be totaly reflection of the book. Each director interprets the read book in his way and stresses in the different points, but any way your comments have rights to exist.

Totally agree! :) I love movies as much as books in their own way.

Any true dune fan knows it’ll take a high budgeted miniseries to fully adapt the first dune book. What Denis did was genius and switched things to make more emphasis on the key points of the book. If u came into the theater thinking it would be 100% adapted then u might’ve not seen the first film

Really like this review as it is clearly seen that you are well informed both about the books and also cinematography. To me, I didn't like the Stilgar improvisation tbh, and Chani feelings were also a bit exaggerated. But it is understandable that Denis wanted to add more humour and love to the original script for the sake of audience. And the last battle screentime also should have been more. Overall I liked his adaptation, more screen time for Paul in the battle scenes throughout the movie. And showing Paul's negative side in the 1st book adaptation is also good tbh, because in the trilogy it is being shown mostly in 2nd book. Director's touch on Harkonnen scenes and also the warm rides were so astonishing! Loved the visual of the review! Less background music will be better though!

I also didn't understand why Chani suddenly became so sceptical of Paul and refused to follow him.. Spice is consumed by guild navigators that allows them to see the future and navigate fastest&safest route in space. Kinda turns them into quantum computers on roids 😂

Chani didn't change suddenly. she never followed him cause she never believed. so she never changed. as explained in the movie people from south were more believers of the prophecy.

@@RS-handle Chani was closest Fremen to Paul throughout the movie yet at the end, she is the most radical one against him. That change wasn't smooth.

Thanks for the good review, but I think it is OK to do some changes for the movie. I liked the movie :)
