Love your Saigon Pride blog. This is my first time seeing pride in Vietnam. I didn’t even know there was one. Thanks so much for posting. ❤ 🏳️🌈

This looks very strange to me seeing people just different like that. I am not bashing on people, just feel very strange. Maybe, I should get out more to see more strange thing to feel normal.

No surprise that there is no security guards or police presence. Vietnam is very safe and has been for ad long as I have been traveling there since mid 1990s Petty theft is the only problem. It's great to see the emergence of an open proud gay culture throughout Vietnam!

With all due respect and not to dimimish Vietnam's LGBTQ inclusivity but that country is still a aurhoritarian state so as such it is natural there are no anti-protesters.
@CKology2 күн бұрын
Funny is I don't feel like I was in an authoritarian state while I was shooting the video
@smacijs2 күн бұрын
@@CKology I totally believe it is not a repressive regime like China and I also acknowledge that the majority apparently agree with the leadership as well as the political system, but the fact is that Vietnam is authoritarian one-party state with no democracy. It is impossible to deny, even if it may well be a consolidated society to live in.

Understand. I hope this country will continue to prosper

It is 2024 and we need to be more progressive and accepting of all our brothers and sisters, no matter what gender and sexual orientation. Unfortunately some people will never be able to accept that all of us are born different and how unfair it is to give different rights to minorities who are not of the same mold. We can only hope that things will change and we can move forward with this.
