Namaste Muskan.. It good that you are pursuing your Masters in Yogic Science. and just focus on your Master now. you will be better equipped with Masters.. No. YCB exam does not guarantee a better job,..but once you finish your Masters I will recommend you to do YCB because incase you get any vacancy... and if they require YCB certified.. that you will not be eligible. But I will suggest after few years.. just to keep yourself updated.. keeping giving these exams. so atleast your basic will be clear and updated.. not being rusted. take care

Namaste Simran. Go through the syllabus of 3 and 4, even 2 and check that have your covered all those in 200Hrs. I don't think yoga alliance covers it. just check and then accordingly you start.

YCB Exams are the Indian Centralized way of conducting yoga exams.. for yoga teachers. earlier there was nothing centralised,, every school issued their own certificate.. they still do.. but in India if you wish to have a government job in the field of yoga than you should have a YCB Certification.. you can also be an examiner to check other performance. Internationally Yoga Alliance is popular but in India YCB is popular.. it will take some time for YCB to globally renovated.. but it will do so finally, lets wait and watch. Since last more than 8 years yoga alliance has still got a strong hold in the international market while YCB is still slowly and slowly reaching to that state. so If you wish to teach internationally Thant Yoga Alliance is good, but not compulsory.. Although I would prefer YCB anytime than Yoga Alliance, but still the international studio know about Yoga Alliance and not YCB. so I will recommend go for YCB, very well syllabus.
