It seems to me that the yellow and red zones may be more comfortable and safe, but they can lead to complacency. Keep striving for the green zone! This is a very well done and informative video, thank you!

I was just thinking that being self-employed versus corporate America might prove slightly more challenging? I think it is extremely difficult to stay in the green zone, specifically when working with members that are happy in the yellow and red zones. If the team involved in your own business are not stimulated to be challenged and grow, one can feel extremely stifled. I find I am constantly looking for ways to grow. Thx 4 video!

It should possibly be mentioned that once you've entered the yellow and red zone, when you feel you've really got the job down and it is easy...it's time to start taking training courses, get certifications, that will set you up for the next step in your career. Career growth is part luck, but it is also part planning, learning, and implementing. So: If you're ever in a job that seems too easy and boring, and you're not up-skilling, you're not taking responsibility for your own career growth. If you're not growing, you're dying. Or, as the Neil Young song says: "RUST NEVER SLEEPS".

About 2 months ago I realized that I have been in the yellow zone for 1.5 years. I am starting a new job in 3 weeks that will give me the ability to grow alot and be highly challenged
