What is your sense of self-worth based on? What makes you feel valuable? Do you ever question your value as a person?
Sometimes we may question our self-worth, especially when we're unable to fulfill what we see as our main role. Have you encountered a situation in which you feel useless? Is it hard to see what value you can bring to others or yourself? If so, it's understandable, so don't lose hope. You are valuable--you just may not see it yet.
In this video, I share the concept of unconditional value, based on using wisdom to adapt to our situation.

My sense of self, identity and self-worth are in constant flux, as is my perception, which can at times be very skewed towards the negative side of things. With that, my functioning in everyday life and social interaction also varies quite a bit. I have been thinking about how to attain more inner stability lately, but I haven't found an answer to that yet. At times, it's almost like I turn into a different person overnight. Then I suddenly have difficulties where there were none, and I'll turn indifferent towards things I felt good or secure about, or they'll become outright sources of stress and anxiety. But also the opposite is true - I can experience a troubling thought or an inhibition that presents itself like a huge hurdle, a wall, or a problem that needs solving to get ahead, just for it to simply be gone from one day to another without having it resolved. It's like I have to turn around my inner workings, adjustment and coping strategies, which at times feels like having to start over from scratch. Does someone else experience this? Any advice?
