Corsair keyboards are frankly not that great for the price bracket they retail in, but their Strafe series is more affordable than their K series (K70/K95) while still using genuine Cherry MX switches. That said, there's plenty of Cherry MX clone switches out there in significantly cheaper keyboards that are still a massive improvement over a membrane keyboard. They're basically all from China, but most keyboards for even under $50 are actually pretty solidly built and you'll find a lot of people on a budget using switches from Outemu, Gateron or Kailh without any complaints. I mean, Kailh is even the manufacturer for the switches in Razer keyboards, for whatever that's worth.

Why do you need a mechanical keyboard to touchtype accurately? A good typer can type on anything no matter what. Faster switches won't change that. Finger placement and muscle memory will. Infact, I probably won't switch, because once I get the taste for them, I won't be able to use membrane. So I'll stay membrane, thank you.

I say it isn't worth it though. It's like 200 bucks for something that you can do the same thing for 12 bucks. And I have never gotten fatigued with my K120, for 12 bucks. And feels good and adicting means I'll want to buy more, spending more, for something I could have avoided. It's like being fine with rubishy noodles, but then trying the good ones, and now you aren't able to go back to the rubishy noodles, because they taste horrible, when before, they tasted fine, and only cost like 50 cents. Replace the noodles with keyboards, and there we go.

xX_Ice Blue_Xx 60 is not considered very fast, I just got a transcription job that you have unlimited time to type out words and you need a minimum of 70wpm (as in it's not even a time sensitive typing job and 70wpm is min). If you wanted to be a stenographer or something you'd need around 130-160 wpm.
