Holy I can’t imagine how insane it must feel! That’s basically the rocket league equivalent to an end of game achievement! When I hit champ 1 and champ 2 for the first time they were both one of the happiest moments in my rocket league journey so far! Recently I’ve dropped to champ 1 in 2s and diamond 3 in 3s but I will make it back to champ 2 in both, and I will also reach a new peak, no matter how long it takes I know I will eventually hit gc and maybe someday ssl who knows? But this video gave me so much motivation to grind ranked! It was so cool to see you make it! This was my first video I’ve watched of yours but I loved it!

Same exact thing happened to me lmao. I’m working on getting back up there. Ion mind droppin anymore because I know where I belong it’s just hard to play through them rough teammates in ranks we don’t belong it’s noticeable. With the new voice chat update though I felt like my games have been easier since I can let my teammates know what will happen with my plays and coach em a bit. Fasho will get to GC and keep that grind up till I hit SSL and after that I’ll just enjoy the gameplay up there and try to grind the ranks.

I'd been playing 1s since f2p season 2-3 in hope to hit GC 1. I started as c1 and played like 1500 games of 1s throughout these seasons. I know it's not an enormous amount of games and some people can play this much in a single season but I'm not one of them. I couldn't keep my sanity the more I played. So after 1500 games I gave up as consistent c2-c3. I peaked 3 times at 1165-1166 mmr which is 2 games away from hitting GC 1. And those 2 out of 3 times were in December last year. Since then I hadn't been close to that mmr for months. And I started immensely losing hope and motivation. Thoughts of how trash I am because I couldn't improve at all and was staying in champion ranks were kicking in harder and harder. This season I played some 1s and reached again my peak mmr for the third time and then lost it pretty badly and I completely ran out of any hope, motivation and energy to grind 1s anymore. But your video gave it back. Thank you very much for it

I got 6-7k hours and hovering between GC1 & GC2 when I put it in an effort to maintain my rank. Haven't put in the proper effort to reach SSL and have rather relaxed with the game instead. :) The grind for SSL, training and replay analysis etc. ends up being not fun to me. 3 year ago, I first hit c1 with 350 hours in 1v1s. It was an incredible feeling, it's not SSL or GC, but it was still an incredible feeling. I tried to get higher to get to GC, but I got more frustrated as the loses piled on, I had no one to coach me, no help aside from a couple of 1v1 tip videos that gave vague tips that barely helped at all, and I didn't have a discord server community or anything like that until very very late. I eventually quit the game entirely because I just couldn't handle the preasure of constantly trying to improve and outperform everyone I went up against, I just couldn't do it. The highest I got was C1 Div 4, and that was it, and after that I just got slower and worse at the game as time went on. I tried to ask for help, but the coaching either costed money (something I had VERY little of) or I had to be 18+ (I was 16 turning 17 at the time), and the coaching that WAS free, that I COULD do because it wasn't age related, they didn't really put in effort to coach me long term, it was kind of just looking at 1 or 2 replays, telling me what I did wrong, tried to apply certain stradigies ingame that worked for 1 or 2 occasions, and that was it. No spookluke, leth, sunlesskhan, or appjack long term help, just short term help. It was even worse when the players I went up against were toxic as heck, saying things beyond just What a Save and the typical "You suck" comments. Racial slurrs, personal attacks, etc. I quit, and never looked back, probably never will unless something REALLY big happens that changes my mood. I love this game (or, used to at least), but I absolutely despise the community. (also, never really being able to tell if I was getting better or not, only having a few good moments that were overshadowed by really poor performances, or going against players that were WAY above my level, like going up against gc1+s in c1 1v1s)

I had the same feelings when I hit GC before SSL was even there. But you know what? I felt empty after that. The grinding was the thing that kept me playing. After achieving the goal, I stopped gaming completely. Focus on real life goals the same you focused on getting ssl and you will be successful in life.
