Yes, this verse is very special. One day I was very sad driving back from visiting my mom who was in the hospital with a major stroke and I was praying asking God what should I do. As I slowed down to stop for the red light, I looked at the car in front of me and all over the back window and license plate frame had this scripture John 4:24 and their back window had stickers saying be a worshiper and "Precious Moment sticker" of a girl kneeling and praying at the foot of the cross. I knew that wasn't by accident. So grateful to Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior! 🙏

the core of Christianity is always about SPIRIT and TRUTH. Worship in Spirit: born again in spirit, guided by Holy Spirit, spiritual hearing and spiritual growth. Worship in Truth: either we speaks lies or truth. Sharing lies in the name of God will bring punishment, remember Job's friends. Therefore make sure to seek and verify your "truth" , before you share it to others. to those whom profess as pastor, preacher or bible teacher, you have no idea how great the risk that you bear by preaching based on doctrinated, assumptions and fantasies. Jesus said it would be better for the person to ... rather than mislead His little ones. Spirit and Truth are equally important, and need to be put in balance. If put too much focus on spirits, they will open the door to false spirits, vulnerable to spiritual deceptions, on the other hand, if put too much focus on bible knowledge, without seeking spiritual guidance from Holy Spirit, it will lead to man's made interpretations, yeast of the Pharisees. Therefore be very careful on what you hear and put your trust into, Do not accept every words just because the persons able to demonstrate their spiritual power/gift, nor those whom able to deliver eloquent words but lack of spiritual discernment. Always verify the words from spirits and human's understanding to Jesus's words delivered in flesh.

When Jesus mentioned worshipping with SPIRIT, he was not speaking of a spirited, animated, or enthusiastic form of worship. He was talking about being guided by God’s holy spirit, which guides our understanding of the scriptures. (1Corinthians 2:9-12) And the TRUTH Jesus referred to is an accurate knowledge of Bible teachings. Our worship will be acceptable to God if it conforms to what the Bible teaches and is guided by the Holy Spirit!

Consider Matthew 4 "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceeds from the mouth of God". Obedience to this is Worship. All of worship is an act of true obedience to God the Father.

The bishops of Nicaea correctly understood that "the Father" is the "NORMAL" almighty God (no one has ever seen or known him, Jn.17:24,25 ), "the Son" is a second divine Person, but with "the Holy Spirit" they made a major blunder when thinking He is a THIRD divine Person. That's not true, the "Holy Spirit" is EXACTLY THE FATHER, only this time in a PARTICULAR FORM: in the form of a spirit. He originates from the "normal Father" nobody ever knew (but the Son). The bishops could figure that out from the Jesus' statement that THE FATHER IS A SPIRIT. That statement is reliable because Jesus even makes a pun on it "those who worship Him must worship IN SPIRIT and truth." That statement, combined to the Jesus' statement regarding ONLY TWO POSSIBLE BLASPHEMIES against the Son and the HOLY SPIRIT, were to hint that "HOLY SPIRIT" is just a NAME given by Jesus to the FATHER WHO IS A SPIRIT ! In short, Jesus has the "FATHER WHO IS A SPIRIT" and calls him sometimes "Father," sometimes "Spirit" (Holy) depending on circumstances, but these are just TWO NAMES to identify exactly the SAME ONE Father. You can find a confirmation: the Holy Spirit is in Jesus, but ONLY the Father is with Jesus "I am not ALONE because the Father is with me" (repeated many times in all different ways). Hence, the Holy Spirit with Jesus can only be THE FATHER: the ONLY ONE who is there with Him, there are NO MORE PERSONS! "Father" and "Holy Spirit" are thus TWO EQUIVALENT TERMS to identify the same Person, so that when the former is used in an event, the latter is not used and vice versa. Thus, you can see that the Holy Spirit dealing with Mary's pregnancy is THE FATHER. Indeed - as a matter of logic - the Father of Jesus can be none other than.... THE FATHER! This is confirmed by the fact that the power of THE FATHER "the power of the Most High" is used and not the power of an alleged third divine person. The term "Father" is not used there because the term "Holy Spirit" is used. This also means that at the baptism of Jesus there are only TWO divine Persons - FATHER and SON - because HE WHO SPEAKS IS THE HOLY SPIRIT! Also in this event the term "Father" is not used because the term "Holy Spirit" is used instead. Well, it was very simple: Jesus states DOZENS OF TIMES in the gospels - in all various ways - that God is made (A) by the Father and (B) by the Son. PERIOD. Since Jesus in all those statements picks the term "Father," He never mentions the term "Holy Spirit". For example here the term "Father" is used and the term "Holy Spirit" is not used "As for that day and hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven nor the Son, but only the Father." You can appreciate that - when even the ANGELS (!) are taken into account - no alleged third divine person is present there. In short, Jesus NEVER says that a THIRD PERSON IS WITH HIM and NEVER states that God is a TRIUNE GOD. The bishops of Nicaea should have simply accepted Jesus' words, rather than INVENTING a "Lord giver of life" that nobody has ever seen, or heard.

@@ravindrinrangasamy578 I realize that my view can be shocking but some logical remarks: -in my opinion it's nonsensical that the almighty God has a normal, actual son - rather, it would be sensical that the word ("Son") just means He DERIVES from God - it doesn't make sense that both Jesus and the Father are present in heaven, the Father would be God and the Son just a demi-God ("the Father is greater than I") - omnipotence is an UNCONDITIONAL power, you cannot have TWO almighty persons because their powers would mutually collide. Logic allows only ONE almighty Person to exist in the universe. - if also God is in heaven, Jesus cannot be the KING of heaven - as claimed by Him - because God would surely be more important. When scriptures are conflicting I check out Jesus' words and I prefer them, (when available). The CLEAR seat occupancy ACCORDING TO JESUS (Jesus' answer to the High priest) is as follows: (1.) ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the RIGHT HAND OF POWER and appearing in the clouds of heaven. (2.) Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the RIGHT HAND OF THE POWER of God. (3.) ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the RIGHT HAND OF POWER, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Well, there's no doubt that the "POWER" is a THING! No further such direct information is given by the gospels. No information is given by the John's gospel; the "long ending" of Mark is not part of the original text, it's spurious scripture, contradicting itself. Logic and gospels agree: Jesus is LIKE a normal man because He's got no power at all and doesn't know the future. But He is God because HE HAD BEEN THE ONE almighty God. If Jesus HAD BEEN the almighty God, this obviously means the Father DOES NOT EXIST ANYMORE ("the world has not known you"). The Father - i.e.the almighty God - is just a SPIRIT here ("God is a spirit"). GOD WHO IS A SPIRIT is the "Spirit of God" aka "Holy Spirit". This means He is ABSENT because He only dwells in a distant past, before the start of the universe ("before the foundation of the world"). This is why "No man has seen God at any time", INVISIBILITY is not an issue! But even from that distant time God is ABLE TO OBSERVE US NOW and to take actions here: there's thus a TEMPORAL BRIDGE between GOD and US. That is as far as we are concerned. But - from his point of view ONLY - God was able to COMPLETE all his work in that distant time. Only at that time - after having made all his decisions - God knew the actual future and his power was set by Him to automatically perform the future God's actions. The Son HAD BEEN that omnipotent God ("He who has seen me has seen the Father" "I am in the Father..."). By getting rid of his omnipotence (no longer necessary after completion of his work) God became like a man: "the Son of God". "Son" just means He DERIVES from God, He is not an "actual" Son. The Son is now the ONLY ONE really existing non-omnipotent God, the only KING of heaven. The Holy Spirit with Him is the Father. No one else exists, the Son sits next to the POWER of God (a "thing", controlled by the Father) because He hasn't got his own. The Son is thus at the same time NOT DISTINCT from the Father because He was that almighty God, yet He is also DISTINCT from the Father, since the Father is the almighty God - in the form of a spirit now - and Jesus is like a normal man, with no power at all ("the Father is greater than I"). You could thus say that God is more than One and less than Two in number.

In REALITY we are observed by the almighty God from the past. It's up to you, what you like: either you think that the almighty God is in a distant past, observing you now, or - if you prefer - you can think that God is here, but He is a spirit. The latter view is preferred by Jesus.

Water has three different forms of matter: liquid, solid and gas. It is the same thing yet different.
