If Jesus IS the Image of God - and we are made IN the Image of God - doesn’t that mean that Jesus is imprinted on every human being? Sin has defaced this image- but not destroyed it. Even in our fallenness- we are still fearfully and wonderfully made. Paul says in Galatians “God was pleased to uncover [apocalupto] Christ in me” When we repent and acknowledge Jesus IS Lord- a renovation process begins: “being renovated to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him”. This image is not alien- it’s part of our creation nature- it lies dormant, waiting to be revitalized by our Father’s Loving power ❤️

False teachers say born again believers are sinners who will sin. Jesus said repent and sin no more. Paul said do not sin. John said do not sin. Jesus makes His followers new creations to walk in newness of life. Jesus transforms from death to life, from darkness to light, from practicing sin to practicing righteousness. Jesus transforms us by His Spirit and His divine power to partake of His Divine Nature. He transforms us into the image of Christ. He is the head and we are the body. Jesus lived in fallen flesh, was tempted as we are yet without sin. He said His followers will do what He did and greater. Yes, the resurrected Lord Jesus lives in the hearts of His true believers by His love, word and Spirit, transforming us from one degree of glory to another. Those whom Jesus sets free are free in deed. Beware of those who say born again believers are sinners who will sin.

@danielbelteshazzar-mg7rb You realize that if there's no Rupture or Great Tribulation, then God does not align with your perception of being loving, holy, kind, or good. The issue with modern individuals is a lack of understanding of true goodness. The key mistake lies in an inability to analyze human behavior and recognize the inherent deceitfulness and stubbornness in people. Fortunately, God's goodness and love ensure the occurrence of the Rapture and a severe Great Tribulation. This serves the greater purpose of revealing humanity's lawlessness and its consequences, allowing people to reach their lowest point. When it comes to the Great Tribulation, you don't necessarily need to rely on prophecies; consider the perspectives of figures like Bill Gates or Elon Musk, who often describe a "bright and glorious" future. If you're hesitant to listen to prophets, billionaires provide a different perspective that can be thought-provoking and terrifying.

In the beginning God said "Let the ... and it was so" With man it was not so simple. To begin, God makes a statement of *intent* . The mission statement was, and still is, to "make man in the image and likeness of God". God says: "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:.." The *implementation* of the intent began with creative action: "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." That initial prototype ended in failure, summarized in the statement" "Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his *own likeness* , after *his image* ; and called his name Seth:" And "He was a murderer from the beginning". Man's attempts to fill the earth and subdue it continues to end in frustration of the initial intent. So God begain again with a new creation: Jesus is the first man made on the image and likeness of his Father, "the *firstborn* among many brethren". "For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;" for "now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits (the firstborn); afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. "Now unto him that *is able* to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, *be glory and majesty, dominion and power* ,both now and ever. Amen."

(Ezekiel 28:15.) What GOD YHVH said about Heylel ben Shachar [Lucifer] was never said about Adam ! That's where his antagonism to the human race comes from ! He saw the LORD GOD form a man from the dust of the earth, like all the [other] animals (Evolution's idea of man being nothing more than a glorified ape !) ! Lucifer's jealousy of being discarded, as an exalted spirit being, for some inferior earth creature, becomes suddenly understandable ! And hence his rebellion against the Most High [EL ELYON] !

Great couple of questions We're not created as an automaton so that we are programmed to function without the consent of our will, without the activity of our lives. And what we know from Genesis chapter 3 is that the man and the woman were created in such a way, they could choose both to grow and to decline. They were made righteous and holy, but they were capable of progressing in that righteousness and holiness. As they actually consciously obeyed God, they would have grown. God made a world that was perfectly good. But if you read the text, you'll notice, it was perfectly good, but it wasn't perfectly finished. Because in that very good world, God planted a garden. And that's an indication to us that the garden had an inside and an outside. Everything inside was garden. Everything outside was not yet garden. And Adam and Eve's task"and presumably, had they not sinned, it would've become the task they would have shared with their family"was to extend that garden to the ends of the earth. They were to fill the earth for the glory of God. They were to exercise dominion for the glory of God. In the case of our first parents created as the image of God, they failed that test. In failing that test, their lives as the image of God were fractured. They no longer functioned the way the image of God was supposed to function. But the Scriptures do teach us that despite that, they remained the image of God. So, for example, in the Gospels"in Matthew 22, isn't it?"where Jesus is asked, "Should we pay taxes to Caesar?" He asks for a coin. He says, "Whose image is on the coin?" And they say, "Caesar's image." And He says: "Well, render to Caesar the things that are Caesar. If his image is on the coin, give him the coin." But then He adds, "And render to God the things that are God's." And hidden in that statement is if Caesar's image is on it, give it to him. He's really saying: "But there's a bigger challenge. Whatever has God's image on it, give it to Him." In other words, Jesus Himself seems to understand that we remain the image of God, but in a sense, we've stolen it from Him. James 3 speaks about the fact that we praise God and then we curse our neighbor, although our neighbor is made as the image of God. So, we remain the image of God, but we're fractured. The phrase “only begotten Son” occurs in John 3:16, which reads in the King James Version as, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." The phrase "only begotten" translates the Greek word monogenes. This word is variously translated into English as "only," "one and only," and "only begotten." It’s this last phrase ("only begotten" used in the KJV, NASB and the NKJV) that causes problems. False teachers have latched onto this phrase to try to prove their false teaching that Jesus Christ isn’t God; i.e., that Jesus isn’t equal in essence to God as the Second Person of the Trinity. They see the word "begotten" and say that Jesus is a created being because only someone who had a beginning in time can be "begotten." What this fails to note is that "begotten" is an English translation of a Greek word. As such, we have to look at the original meaning of the Greek word, not transfer English meanings into the text. So what does monogenes mean? According to the Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature (BDAG, 3rd Edition), monogenes has two primary definitions. The first definition is "pertaining to being the only one of its kind within a specific relationship." This is its meaning in Hebrews 11:17 when the writer refers to Isaac as Abraham’s "only begotten son" (KJV). Abraham had more than one son, but Isaac was the only son he had by Sarah and the only son of the covenant. Therefore, it is the uniqueness of Isaac among the other sons that allows for the use of monogenes in that context. The second definition is "pertaining to being the only one of its kind or class, unique in kind." This is the meaning that is implied in John 3:16 (see also John 1:14, 18; 3:18; 1 John 4:9). John was primarily concerned with demonstrating that Jesus is the Son of God (John 20:31), and he uses monogenes to highlight Jesus as uniquely God’s Son-sharing the same divine nature as God-as opposed to believers who are God’s sons and daughters by adoption (Ephesians 1:5). Jesus is God’s “one and only” Son. The bottom line is that terms such as "Father" and "Son," descriptive of God and Jesus, are human terms that help us understand the relationship between the different Persons of the Trinity. If you can understand the relationship between a human father and a human son, then you can understand, in part, the relationship between the First and Second Persons of the Trinity. The analogy breaks down if you try to take it too far and teach, as some pseudo-Christian cults (such as the Jehovah’s Witnesses), that Jesus was literally "begotten" as in “produced” or “created” by God the Father. The Bible is clear that all people are God’s creation (Colossians 1:16), and that God loves the entire world (John 3:16), but only those who are born again are children of God (John 1:12; 11:52; Romans 8:16; 1 John 3:1-10). In Scripture, the lost are never referred to as God’s children. Ephesians 2:3 tells us that before we were saved we were “by nature objects of wrath” (Ephesians 2:1-3). Romans 9:8 says that “it is not the natural children who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.” Instead of being born as God’s children, we are born in sin, which separates us from God and aligns us with Satan as God’s enemy (James 4:4; 1 John 3:8). Jesus said, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me” (John 8:42). Then a few verses later in John 8:44, Jesus told the Pharisees that they “belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire.” The fact that those who are not saved are not children of God is also seen in 1 John 3:10: “This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.” We become God’s children when we are saved because we are adopted into God’s family through our relationship with Jesus Christ (Galatians 4:5-6; Ephesians 1:5). This can be clearly seen in verses like Romans 8:14-17: “…because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’ The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs-heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.” Those who are saved are children “of God through faith in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:26) because God has “predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will” (Ephesians 1:5). Hope this helps you understand these matters you struggle with 🙏✝️

@@robmarshall956 well, thank you for attempting a valiant lawyers answer. it’s just a shame that it was a big word salad with very little nourishment within it. @@tales-from-this-crypt my friend you are just showing how foolish and lost you are you can’t have an understanding of these matters as you have no spiritual faculty and are at enmity with God instead of weak snide comments blanketed as sincere questions you would do well to realise you are just being used by satan as a pawn to do his pathetic work. The human condition is lost; we have all wandered astray (Isaiah 53:6). We are spiritually blind (2 Corinthians 4:4). We are sinful, having broken the law of God (1 John 1:8; 3:4). We stand guilty before God, the righteous Judge (Romans 5:12, 18). We are enslaved by sin (John 8:34). We are morally ruined (Romans 7:18). We are dying physically and dead spiritually (1 Peter 1:24; Ephesians 2:1). In our natural human condition, we do not willingly seek God or God’s will (Romans 3:10-11). Because of our sinful nature, we are “hostile to God” (Romans 8:7). Fortunately for us, God loves His enemies, and He demonstrated His great love for us by sending His only begotten Son to die in our place (John 3:16-21; Romans 5:8). We were lost, and the Good Shepherd gathered His sheep; we were spiritually blind, and the Healer found us; we stood guilty before God, and the Judge has justified us; we were enslaved, and the Redeemer has paid the price for our release; we were morally ruined, and He has restored us; we were dead, and the Resurrection and the Life has raised us up.
