3:26 Wrong. Grenadiers wear a gold/white plume on the left side of their bearskin. In the household division's footguards, only the coldstreamers wear a red plume.

That hat needs to have a little fan and a vent on top like a mascot head.

I worked in a factory that made plumbing parts. The machines use injection molding to make the things that connect your sinks and toilets to the sewer. This place made them all and my job was to grab the newly made plumbing parts and pack them into boxes. Easiest way was this. If 6 parts went into a box, you fold the box, tape the bottom, grab 3 parts in each hand and throw them in the box, tape it shut and stack it. Normal expecting rate at that sort of job was a 5-6 boxes PER MINUTE. You arent allowed to talk. You cant listen to music. You stand in the same spot. twisting over grabbing 3 parts per hand, throwing them in the box.....hundreds of times per hour, 12 hours a day.....3 days on....3 days off....4 days on....4 days off.....the factory would get over 110 degrees and we didnt get fans. Steel toed boots were required. tell me how a guard that gets the snazzy uniform, that gets to hold a cool weapon, watch the goofy tourists and occasionally get flashed by women trying to get attention......tell me how that could be worse than the boring factory job I just described!! I wasnt even allowed to walk at all....unless I went to the bathroom, and I was timed! Otherwise, I had to literally stand in the same spot, no fancy footwork back and forth.....until break time. 45 minutes total. My total working time was 12 hours and 45 minutes, breaks were on my own time. You cant! And I have seen the guards laugh. They dont get penalized like that, its all over youtube! I could easily do that job, I have worked factory jobs that have conditioned me to do that very well! English government, if you are watching, you should look overseas. I will make your queens guard look like they are made out of laffy taffy!

Sounds like A VERY GOOD REASON not to work in a factory. I’m sure glad I never worked there! I was the poor Truck Driver who delivered your boxes to the warehouse…

Now do the Swiss guard I have always wondered why the Swiss guard protects the pope. Like what is the connection there.

I think the Swiss served as mercenaries for the Vatican at one point and the tradition has stuck.

Does it really matter? She’s literally pointless. Nothing more than a figurehead. A puppet. It’s absurd that resources are wasted guarding that family.
