Do they pay hourly while you're getting trained?

Throughout your training, you will receive a biweekly basic living allowance. As your training progresses, your living allowance will increase. After you graduate, Job Corps can help you get started on your journey with a transition allowance. This allowance is based on your academic and career technical training achievement while in Job Corps.

Some campuses offer non-residential options where students can commute to campus each day for their hands-on training and classes, but do not live on campus. You can learn more by visiting bit.ly/3JgnOdp or call 800-733-JOBS (5627) to be connected with Admissions staff. And of course, feel free to reach back out with any other questions.

Hi! Thanks for your interest! Yes, you may attend Job Corps as a 22-year-old. There are a few other eligibility requirements to meet before you can start training at Job Corps. If you have any further questions, an Admissions staff member can help. Visit bit.ly/3JeAamc or call 800-733-JOBS (5627) to be put in touch with an Admissions staff member near you.
