I love the African and Asian culture. When you have a baby the whole family have the baby. I would leave work (after 12 hour shift) to cook and clean for my sister and her family. My mum would call and ask what I cooked so she cooks something different the following day. I remember feeling so tired but it was all worth it.

My son is half black and Vietnamese. He didn’t care to learn when I taught him Vietnamese at an early age, but now he wish he could learn them early on. He has picked up a lot of Vietnamese now. Please teach Monoco Vietnamese-people who can speak more than one languages have more advantage.

I absolutely love that your mom and u will teach your daughter Vietnamese because I grew up with one of my best friends who was Mexican and her parents decided not to teach them Spanish because they were afraid they would have an accent. It’s honestly is! My partner was raised multilingual, he can speak four languages fluently. He’s able to communicate with all members of his family and that is the real gift❤️. We plan to raise our children the same!

Love this video. Hope Jeannie is doing well, when I had my first child she would cry all the time, all day all night. We were constantly in the hospital, I was sooool thankful to have my mother's help. She was a gift, she helped with baby, let me sleep because sometimes I just wanted to faint. I agree keeping the language is so beautiful my mom at home she would never let us talk English because she said in school and outside we were going to speak English.
