as a licensed cosmetologist who's been in the industry for 25 years cutting a babies hair stimulates the hair follicles and makes them stronger which is key for strong and healthy hair. Mama Mai did good 😊

This is actually very common in Asians cultures to shame the baby heads - it was done to all 7 of us in my family and all of us have thick hair! Even though some of us are heading into our 40s. Even better when the head is shaved massaging with oil makes for a healthy scalp and regrowth.

FIRST COMMENT!!! This episode had me on the floor crying!!! 🤣🤣🤣 And I'm happy that you had a safe delivery & a healthy baby too! I'm my momma's first born too & I think I was born like a week or 2 earlier myself. According to what my momma tells me, I was supposed to had been born on like June 8th or something like that, but I was born early on May 23rd (1998). But she said I took a long time to come out so she had to get up & walk around a little bit. And then I was born 7lbs even according to her. And as soon as I was born, I was rushed straight to ICU (intensive care unit) because I had pneumonia for whatever reason. But I turned out fine tho. This is according to what my momma tells me. And I also wanna say Happy Hello Hunnay Annaversary Jeannie!!! 🎉🎊🥳 3 years of Hello Hunnay & still going strong! 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 I hope you guys are doing good & much love to you & the family! These memories will mean so much to you when you have your own. My mother and I weren't close until I had my daughter. It clicked with me that she did the best she could with what she had. She wasn't on drugs or anything like that. She was just young and a new mother whose own mother died at 40 from drugs so she had no guidance. I thank God for her every day and what used to feel like problems with up-bringing are funny memories now.
